Who watched the Constantine pilot episode?

I got to watch about 5 minutes of it. How was it? Did you enjoy it?

Better than Gotham, worse than Flash, on par with Arrow premiere.

Tried 2 minutes.

Best of luck foo the show, but it won't be for me.

@bullpr: Pilots are rarely a good example of how good a show will be. There are plenty of otherwise great shows with objectively terrible pilots, just as there are plenty of awful shows with great pilots.

I watched it a few months back when it leaked. Didn't care for it. Maybe with them bringing Zed into the show it will improve a bit, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

interesting. here I was hoping for something good if not awesome watching the trailer many months ago. I'm already feeling disappointed reading the comments.

But I'm watching arrow with my wife, flash with my kids and this one was supposed to be for me.

The main actor was terrible, the FX looked very "old school" (and not in a good way) and the sound/music very cheap.

I'm not sure I will give a second shot at this show right now.

If I'm wrong I'll watch the first season on Netflix and be back for the season 2.

I just don't have that much free time to persist on a show when the first impression is so bad.

Same reason I stopped Scorpion recently.

It has a Friday night time slot--that's all you need to know.

Yeah, so Friday night time slots are traditionally bad in comparison to other nights. Friday night is usually where shows go to die.

I liked it... I think Matt Ryan is perfect. The Dr. Fate easter egg is enough for me to stick around.

It might work in this case. Grimm, Constantines lead in, has been thriving on Friday nights for 3 seasons. It just started it's 4th season and was paired with Constantine for a supernatural block.

I watched the leaked pilot. I've got the episode dvr'd. I'm going to have to watch it again now lol.

I heard some things were changed? I don't know if that's true but it's all the more reason for me to rewatch it now.

Its way better that Gotham, that the only reason people keep watching is because some crazy belief Batman is going to be in the show.

Wow so much criticism, I thought Constantine was fantastic. I mean it feels like Matt Ryan is Constantine ripped straight from the pages. I don't know if most of you aren't fans of Constantine in the comics, but he's one of my all time favorite characters and seeing a show that is so true to the feel and attitude of the comics was incredible.

So few shows are true to the comics these days, so I find it refreshing to find something like Constantine. I could not recommend it highly enough for those who haven't seen it.

I'm about to watch it on Hulu soon.

I had to miss it, which sucks because NBC is a very cancel happy network. If people want this show to stay, be sure to Tweet, and buy the DVD.

It was alright. The main problem was the pacing. My goodness, the PACING!! Transformers has better pacing than that lol

Better than the leaked. Needs work though. If they tighten things up. We could have a very good series by season 2.

I liked it, more so than I was expecting based off the trailers.
