What villain was the biggest threat to the Justice League in their animated series.
That's more like it!! After Superman "died" in Hereafter, Savage destroyed the whole world. NO ONE ELSE ever did that. Another shout out goes to Dr. Destiny who would've killed the League in their sleep if not for J'onn and Bats.
@ganon15: Not that I recall.
@dbatdog: IIRC, Ras was saying how he was able to pull off Bruce's plans because he has better resources. Comparing the Ras legacy to the ocean. While comparing the Wayne legacy to a drop of water.
Just because I have a plan, doesn't mean I can execute it probably.
either Lex Luthor, or Amanda Waller.... they almost take the JL down several times
honorable mention to Darkseid, though I don't think he is a Justice League villain, he's a superman villain, or a planet earth villain, the Justice league just get dragged in, during their encounters with him.
@husk: No, Darkseid should never be a Superman villain. Darkseid should be ridiculously above Superman. Darkseid is supposed to be a *NEW GODS* villain. He's a god, no a *king* of gods. No mere kryptonian should be more than a bug to him.
If a threat involves the Earth, it freakin' involves the Justice League guys. A threat to the Earth is a threat to the JL. Why is there a distinction being made?
Darkseid, in the Timmverse, anyways, was more of a Superman villain. I'd vote the Thanagarians. I mean, they did take over Earth on their watch.
Man, people really like jumping to their opinion before reading any posts, let alone the OP. (Though I partially blame the ridiculous character limit on topic titles. If it was bigger the OP could have fit "animated series" in there).
Ganon15 makes a good argument for a non-Darkseid answer
@battle_forum_junkie: I know he meant in the show bro...but you try to find a more epic picture to represent my answer.
*looks up "Darkseid vs. Justice League images for half an hour"
Nope. You win, dude.
