Who was is the best actor to portray a Superhero or Villain?

Who is the best actor to portray a Superhero or Villain? NOT who is the best actor. NOT who is the best character. Who, as an actor did the best job of portraying the characters from comic we all love. For example I was not an Iron Man fan at all until Robert Downey Jr's portrayal of the character. he made me like a character that I had no interest in previously. That said, Hugh Jackman's Wolverine is so good I don't think Marvel will ever have a successful, successor for the character. For Villains I would have to say Alfred Molina's portrayal of the Villain Dr. Octopus was almost unequaled but Danny Devito's Penguin is real close. Do there you have my two cents and this is coming from a guy who is a DC fan. What do you think? Post who you think below. Maybe I'll change my mind. ya know I wrote this and then I realized I forgot about Michael Rosenbaum as Lex Luthor perhaps the best ever.

RDJ as Iron Man was perfect casting.

Ian McKellen was a good Magneto, and Heath Leger did a good job with the Joker.
