Darkseid seems to overpower Superman with backhand slaps with ease, sooo...?

When written properly, Supes has no chance against Darkseid. When written by people like Loeb, Darkseid is roughly Super's equal with tracking eye beams. Such a lowball of the character.

If he's as strong as he is suppose to be, then yeah Darkseid wins, comfortably.
