just wondering why every male superhero I look up has the power of being an 'attractive male...
Who keeps writing "Attractive Male" under powers?
@kyrees: But why is attractive male or female a power or skill?
I think this was something included like years ago when CV was still in it's early stages. I remember "attractive male" used to be used in the character comparison battles. Not sure if CV still has those.
People its not going to buy a super heroes that are ugly.
That its the sad world we live in, SpiderMan start selling better when he got better looking.
A few characters like Sasuke, Light Yagami, and Kakashi deserve to have that under their name, they use that power to their advantage when necessary. For Light Yagami its practically just as useful as his Death Note...
@guru_crack: She's not ugly at all, she's just fat.
The creepiest place I ever saw it was assigned to the South Park kids... O_o

...really?
@comicsrulebutdbzdoes2: Hee hee! That's perfect.
@xwraith: I know, right? It's just so wrong XD
@bumpyboo: That's definitely the creepiest thing I've heard about on CV. But I haven't seen that many creepy/gross comments firsthand.
How is that a power?
To say that one is attractive is to imply that they have the ability to attract people. However, I don't think it's a valid addition to a powers list because attractiveness is always attributable to some other characteristic of a character (money, physical features, other powers, etc.).
It may not be a power or skill set, but being attractive(or at least what society deems attractive) has notable advantages and can be a genuine asset.
It can end up being an asset...
woman in comics can end up using this so why not men???
good point.

Eric Cartman is handsome and not even remotely fat.

Pretty much. We did have a thread about this at one point, and how to apply it. IIRC, the general rule was a character should only have the power assigned (this goes too for the female version) if it has been demonstrated on paper. For it to be counted, the character had to have been shown to use their attractiveness to an advantage as though it were an actual power. At least, that was the standard when I first started here.
