My idol is Mike Ness, I love his music from the start and how he has developed as an artist, if I could be anyone I would be Mike, you??
Who is your idol?
When I was younger I never had a father figure (think am beyond the years of needing one now, not that I ever really wanted one), a person I looked up to, and who I felt was the right role model to follow is Superman. I still look up to him now. That is why he will always be my favourite character in fictional story telling.
@supreme_marvel: that's pretty sweet.
Mike Ness, Henry Rollins, Hunter S Thompson, some good picks so far.
I have to go with Ava Gardner. ♥
MLK Defeated Racism with one of the greatest speeches in human history and being one of the greatest Americans of all time , Rosa Parks Defeated it by staying seated on a bus , Ali defeated it by punching it in the face.... repeatedly and then taunting it.
@bruxae: What ever you say ...
In real life: My Dad.
In comics: Captain America.
Dad never said anything quite this epic, but I don't need him to. He's still #1 my idol. :)
No one is worthy of my idolizing!
I agree. This comment may have been criticized but I think while it's good/okay to drawinspiration from a person (or multiple people), idolizing someone (worshiping or deifying them) isn't worth it. In common-speak people may use it to mean inspiration+love/care-for, but it's really more of an unhealthy adoration ("can do no wrong" etc etc).

This :)
I look up to Superman, Captain America and Spider-Man. They always do what's right, and all three are people I aspire to be like. As a kid I always wanted to become Hulk and Daredevil, but I don't really look up to them. Or aspire to be like them, I just thought they were really cool.
So I guess I'd say Superman, Captain America and Spider-Man.
Although I wouldn't really "worship" them as an "idol", I simply look up to them for inspiration and aspire to be like them.

I can get behind this. They are all exemplary heroes/people. The kind that would want to make a difference even if they didn't have their abilities.
@mandarinestro: Hey, Orientals can have terrible taste too. *pats shoulder* :)
@ostyo: Dang
