Who is your favorite superhero of all time?
Hmm, tough question for me since I'm no longer immersed in the hobby anymore, but overtime, these have been among the ones I liked the most:
- Catwoman ~ the first books I consciously collected began with the mini-series
- The Hulk ~ one of the first books I read as a wee child
- Cypher/Doug Ramsey ~ He was a normal dude with a power I think would be the most practical for daily living
- Tim Hunter ~ He was Harry Potter before "Harry Potter" existed
- Tim Drake/Robin ~ I know a lot of stuff happed with the whole Batman dead thing, but he was the first "Robin" I really liked.
Of all time huh?
I always thought it was cool that a Video Game character had his own comic. I still think its way past cool. The archie sonic-verse balances its own mythos while incorporating things from the games very well, because of sonic ive always had a fascination with super speed. I am looking forward to Archie's Mega Man very much.
Again, I am obsessed with super speed. My life would be so much easier if I could jog at Mach 5. The flashes are really cool. Jay, Barry, Wally, Bart, I dont care, they are all equally awesome in my eyes.
Blue Beetle.
When I was younger, I was a marvelite. DC didn't appeal to me at all. That's when I first came across Jaime Reyes as Blue Beetle, I really enjoy his stories, he started out as a fish-out-of-water character who grew into himself as a hero.
Even though I dont really read Marvel stuff anymore, the web-slinger will always have a place in my heart. I always thought it was cool that pete could keep going even though the world drops a metric ton of **** on him.
Power girl(not for the reason you might think)
I like b-list characters, and power girl is definitely that. She is usually overlooked by wonder woman and supergirl. Now that she has her own series, she shines in her own light. See I didnt say anything about her chest, except now, ****.
1. Spiderman (Peter Parker)
It's a 3 way tie between Hulk, Thor, and Reed Richards. Each one is my favorite for a very different reason.
I love loads of heroes but that top spot still belongs to Batman. His stories are among some of the best I have read in comics, his villains are the best (everyone has good villains but Batman has so many). His personality and character of Bruce Wayne itself I wouldn't say are the best but he's likable but without his villains, allies & stories his personality wouldn't make him my fav by itself.
He isn't a meta-human so that is really cool same reason I like Hawkeye, Green Arrow ect... and finally he has great allies and supporting characters like any of the Robins, Alfred, Catwoman, James Gordon. The majority of which make it into my top 100 heroes by themselves.
@gundamheavyarms: Power Girl would definitely be in my top 5. I love her pre-Flashpoint personality.
Clark Kent? He's not a superhero, he just works at the Daily Planet....
Not all heroes wear capes~
