My favorite is Vincent Vernacatola.

Rob Liefeld > everyone else. 

I don't have a definitive favourite, but off the top of my head: Cheung, Chiang, Alex Ross, Hitch, the late Michael Turner, Jim Lee, Ditko, Byrne, Aja, Amanda Conner, Manapul, Quitely.... and many many others.

And as ashamed as I am to admit; I like Greg Land's earlier work *ducks behind cover*

Reilly Browns art is cool.

Currently Ed McGuiness. H.M to Joe Mad and Ryan Ottley.

Depends on the character. Some folks draw one character well, and another not so well. One guy that I think does everyone well is Alex Ross. I was a big fan of McFarlane in his early "weird panel breakdown" days, and when he drew Hulk. Neal Adams was very well-rounded also.

Alan Davis, John Byrne, John Romita Sr, John Byrne, Greg Land, and John Christopher Tyler. Oh and Amanda Conner.

Jack Kirby, Marc Silvestri, Stuart Immonen, Olivier Coipel, Greg Land, Greg Capullo, Kenneth Rocafort, Patrick Gleason and Paco Medina.

Oh and Adi Granov's covers are IMO some of the best if not the best.

John Byrne

Ryan Ottley. I wouldn't say his art is traditional, it's fairly cartoonish, but it's so damn nice to look at.
