EDIT: I may be wrong on that actually im not 100%... I remember reading him few appearances and it being stated that he was a herald. If my memory serves me right

@jloneblackheart: comoletely agree with your assessment. Morg had it before Annihilation. Then Surfer got a huge amp. Could take on Aegis and Tenebrous concurrently and win.

@overmonitor: Well...it's more like the surfer pulled a fast one on Aegis and Tenebrous. Because in a fight of raw power, he'd loose in about two seconds.

I think Morg and Surfer were almost equal with Power Cosmic only. Surfer got his ass handed to him their first fight but after Morg returned from being a captive of Tyrant, the Surfer beat him down with as much ease as he was defeated previously. With the Water of Life it is no doubt Morg was massively more powerful than any herald at the time.

To be fair, he lasted a lot longer than two seconds in both fights. :P

@bossdarksied355: Agreed, he didnt overpower them. He used the energies of the big crunch to do something weird to them. PIS really, but shows Surfer is smart enough to hang with and beat just about anyone even if he can't overpower them.

@overmonitor: I don't even see why everyone says Surfer got such a big amp in Annihilation. He simply surfed through the Crunch and that energy is what killed Tenebrous and Aegis. I don't see anywhere that it states Surfer is more powerful since then than he was prior to it.

@spambot: Because he fought Ravenous, Annhihilus' Herald from the Negative Zone, during Annihilation several times and their powers were equal. He also fought the Proemial Gods once and nearly got killed.

Then Galactus revived him and told him the only way to win was to fully trust him with power or something like that, and suddenly Surfer took out an entire armada of the Annihilation Wave in one panel. Then he destroyed Ravenous in a single blast causing Ravenous to ask "What have you become?". Then he defeated the Promeial Gods without being hit, raw power or not. He was clearly amped by this experience.

Herald Superman, no doubt. Not sure Tyrant is a Herald or not?
