Wolverine was useless.

He got trashed by Beast and Mags, failed to harm a Sentinel, and when he could have done something cool, he just started to feel pretty bad and was totally incapable of doing something

In the past both Wolverine and Beast were pretty useless, and in the future that role went to Colossus and Professor X.

Colossus. Exists only to be beaten up and torn in half. He didn't even hurt ONE sentinel.

Bishop was put there just to be big and black. Oh, sorry I thought you said pointless. :)

Warpath was pretty lame.

Warpath / Thunderbird sucked (I don't remember which guy it was meant to be)

Pretty much all of the future mutants except Wolverine, Kitty and Blink.

What with people saying Wolverine? Without him the future would have stayed a dark waste land.

I think they mean he didn't do much in the past, he was a glorified message boy, though, like you said, without him being that message boy, things would be very grim in the future.

All of the Mutants in the future (with the exception of Kitty and Blink) looked utterly useless against the incredibly overpowered sentinels.

colossus was the guy who did the least. warpath wasn't useful in a fighting sense but he was the one who knew they were coming.

Colossus and Bobby honestly.

I dont recall but i am pretty sure in the comics he didn't need a gun to focus his power....

Wolverine with bone claws is pretty useless fighitng big metal robots, at lest beat ripped ones head off.

xavier. he didnt even send wolverines mind back kitty did, the one who wasnt a telepath....

Colossus. Warpath at least spots them and gave us a nod to Wolverine's death in the comics.

Useless? None. Underused? A few.

Cyclops was the most useless. He was so useless he died off screen in the future and didn't exist in the past.

Colossus. Without Warpath they'd be dead long ago.
