At least Hawkeye has talents that could possibly assist against some big bads.

In movies with big cast, the token black guy is usually the useless.

Hawkeye: "I can distract him with smoke/flashbang arrows, tether him down with some tether arrows, snipe him with some explosive arrows, etc etc etc"

Falcon: "...Yeah I think there's a cat in a tree I can go get"

Honestly both are more useful than widow. What's her thing? Stealth? Cap, Hawkeye and soon Panther most likely have that covered.

What has Falcon done? Whip out two SMGs, put on some magnifying goggles, and flew around slower than Iron Man/War Machine? Give that pack to anyone, and they become "Falcon". Lol.

Basically Falcon needed to be pretty much totally reconed to be of any use; loading him up with tech and weapons, hell he is some kind of genius now too in that lame Avengers cartoon...

Hawkeye, on the other hand, has remained pretty much unchanged since his conception.

Falcon got humiliated by Ant-Man. Hawkeye was able to neutralize Wanda and get the drop on QS in the same movie.

Thank you. I was sad when I found instead of working to bring Wasp, the first original female member of the Avengers in, they were bringing in her. She is useless, she was fine for iron man 2 but honestly did she do anything that any of the other members couldn't? Avengers 2 made even less sense; huge open battlefield in the woods, gun and tank fire, she never gets hurt? and she only wears a skin tight outfit? No armor, no combat gear...nope, skin tight cat-suit...yeah...

It's characters like this that prove Women and especially young girls need a far better role model for super heroes.

Some young girl probably saw this and now thinks the only way she can be a hero is if she's sexy

Hawkeye took out more guys in Avengers then Captain America or Black Widow, he also set Loki up for Hulk's ragdoll curbstomp. And while Thor likely did better using common sense, Clint took out more guys onscreen.

Hawkeye also got Scarlet Witch in the correct headspace to help deal with Ultron among other feats in Avengers 2. The one issue Clint had was getting mind controlled by Loki.

Falcon flew around, dodging a Quinjet and gave Steve and Nat some breakfast and a place to shower. (Clint gave the whole Avengers team a place to shower and rest up) Oh he also got his wings "clipped" by the Winter Soldier and beat up by Rumlow. And to top it off he got beat up by Ant Man.

My conclusion. A lot of people who voted (53% at the time of this writing) don't look at facts before voting or know what they are talking about.

I'm not trying to rebuke Falcon's feats. I'm saying that they're lame.

Saving Cap once from some fodder =/= mass versatility of arrows and superhuman marksmanship. Falcon brings nothing to the table that Iron Man couldn't do in his prototype suit.

The only situation I find Falcon more useful in is Scouting/Natural disaster rescue - and even then, Iron Man/War Machine has that covered. In combat against big threats, Falcon has a grand total of zero advantages.

Falcon saved Cap from winter soldier during their first right, not fodder.

Hawkeye doesn't do anything anyone else couldn't do, he just does it with arrows. Anyone on the team can shoot people. Doing it with arrows doesn't make him more useful.

@jayc1324: Hawkeye can make shots Falcon can't. When a baddie is 1,000 feet away and you only have time to get in one shot, I'd much rather have Hawkeye there to make it.

As far as feats?

Hawkeye was making shots that killed handful of Chitauri at a time, per shot.

Falcon was spamming with full auto and I can't think of a person or vehicle he dropped.

Oh yeah, and I remember that. WS got blindsided then made Falcon totally ineffective. My mistake.
