Who is the most overrated Supervillain?
Doomsday
Carnage....
Fat dude with a 90's style rat tail... "let's make another symbiote like Venom but with more CRUDE, RUDE 'TUDE!" Generic cock rock metal guitar riffs play in the background while the fat dude lights his Newport 100 with a random collectors addition garbage Spider-Man 'limited release' with shiney gold leaf on the shoddily drawn cover.
@BlackWind: People praise him way too much. He's just a plot device used to boost Superman's sales up (Death of Superman). Heck, Superman didn't even die.
This video explains everything :
@DarkKnightDetective: Your welcome :P
Carnage - basically Venom for people with ADD
Doomsday - Famous only because he was the villain from "Death of Superman", which itself is the most overrated storyline of all time.
@xi__felix:
Would you be upset if I said Killer Croc is my second favorite Batman villain? I like his simplicity, he reminds me of a Spider-Man villain, which is relieving in such a dreary comic like Batman.
My vote is for Lex Luthor. The main reason I don't like Doom/Luthor comparisons is that Doom is the most villainous human mortal, like Luthor, but he's not over-exposed nearly as much. Every single major DC story arc has Luthor doing something right in the middle of it. Does the guy ever take a day off? DC needs to put more energy in building up their B and C list villains. It's always Luthor, Luthor, Luthor.
The Joker.

You're not exactly helping your cause. When a fictional character can make a man work this hard to refute all his naysayers, you know he's overrated. :P
How is joker overrated
Joker >>>>>>> your favorite villain
But anyways Dr. doom and Lex luthor are highly overrated
@gunmetalgrey: "Overrated" implies that the majority of people LIKE Joker's character, however Joker has more haters than lovers. He can't be overrated if the majority HATES him. His character is in fact underrated.
@jokergeist: Overrated ≠ well-liked. Overrated means exactly what it says, highly rated to a point above its actual worth/value. He can be overrated by the majority or by the minority, but he's still overrated.
I personally don't like Doctor Doom, that's right, I said it, he has yet to impress me, I am...whelmed.
@jokergeist: THAT EXACTLY!!! The Joker is an amazing character that deserves every bit of credit he gets!
@gunmetalgrey: Well people like you obviously have no idea how to rate a villain. What are you using for the basis of judgement? "If someone is stronger than Joker he's better?" Please.
And the truth is, the majority of brainless people who say "Joker is overrated" have no clue what they're talking about—They are merely letting the media do their thinking for them. People need to think based on their own preferences.

Maybe you need to keep your own in mind buddy. After all maybe they just don't like Joker and they really do feel that he is treated as a much better villain than he actually is.
Don't freak out on people for not loving your character of choice.
