@om4zd.. Neither is hercules but in the comic it's real
Who is stronger, Hercules (Marvel Version) or Superman??

@Om4zd: But how come people would accept the fact that Superman can punch reality as a real feat that makes sense.
It's a backwards argument. Superman punching through reality is the same as Hercules holding up the sky.
Not necessarily.
One could think of an argument for Supes, while holding up the sky is just......dumb.

Then let's see the argument for Superman.
@Kraden: Well, one could argue that he punched hard enough and fast enough to punch through reality. I could probably think of some other stuff, but I'm, well, lazy.

And I could counter by saying Hercules has the strength to hold up the sky, but we already knew that. There is no real argument for Superman that will outweigh the argument for Hercules.

@Kraden: Well, it just seems more logical that someone could punch a rip in reality.
Superman has punched through reality, Hercules has held up the sky. We can conclude that they were strong enough to do so, but no one is able to measure the strength needed to do either feat. We can only agree to choose who we feel is stronger based on the individual feat alone, but we cannot prove who is stronger in that sense.

Its not quantifiable, just like Herc holding up the sky isn't. The only case that could be made for Superman is that he punched so hard that it compacted the matter harder than a black hole, and ripped a hole in reality, the flaw with that is....a black hole is the most powerful force within the Universe, and obviously has the strongest gravitational pull of any object, and since a black hole doesn't even do that(so we believe, we think it just bends and warps space time) there is no way to say whether thats even possible, to punch a "hole" in space, as we don't know of any "holes" that exist.

BEST POST OF THIS THREAD.
In this case Hercules / Superman is really a toss up.
That being said, I'm going with Herc.

Superman is stronger.
This. and Supermans lifted more weight....Far more weight than the sky.
Actually, Hercules has proven to be stronger than Thor, who is arguably as strong as Superman, or just a little weaker. They're probably a tie.
I.A..
Anyone can hold their arms in the air how in the world can this be a feat heck even the ground Herc is standing on isn't crumbling from the non existent weight.

.... and anyone can punch the air and say they just punched a whole through reality. Whose belief in we suspend temporarily to enjoy comics. So yeah.

What reality punch are you talking about because I don't recall bringing it up.
It's a counter-move to your "anyone can hold their arms in the air" bit. It goes the same way for Superman.@spiderbuck said:

How is it a counter when I never used Superman punching reality as a feat.

This is probably the closest thing to a logical conclusion as this thread can come to.
It's really "Potato, Potahto".
It was implied through the comment you made. Usually someone who posts something like that is rooting for the opposing character.@TheSuperHuman said:

@Kraden: Well we humans KNOW that the sky has no border, wall, fence or any such thing that would make anyone capable of holding it up or punching through it. Whereas we don't know really what Reality is..... So in Comic Books we can create fiction from it that would make sense with the Science of the particular Comic Universe. Hercules holding up the sky cannot be explained because there is no fact or fiction to make it believable or an impressive feat.
@a88378438: Hercules has proven to be physically stronger than Thor. That puts him above post crisis Superman in terms of strength.
