Let's see

Joker - insane, incapable of understanding fear, sees everything as a joke. Can't determine right from wrong. Has killed and harmed 100's maybe 1000's

Darkseid - Sane with full understanding of the consequences but does it anyway. Knows right from wrong just chooses evil. Has killed, harmed and tortured 1,000,000's

I'd say Darkseid in a stomp.

I'm with Darkseid. I've never considered Joker to be "badass." He's lucky his key opponents don't believe in killing.

give the joker the darkseid powers, and see what happens.

joker is more badass, ist just darkseid is a lot more powerfull. (at least uxas has a little reason, when joker clearly not)

Why should they?that's like saying Humpty Dumpty should be given Sinestro's powers and personality to make him more cooler than Sinestro.

Darkseid is strong so DC hasn't bothered to contribute anything else to him like a cool personality or ever something resembling a "character" so i don't see how you people could really choose him over Joker.

Joker is scarier, more interesting, more personal, less predictable. If we're defining the ever generic term "badass" as "the one who does the most damage" I suppose it would be Darkseid. If it's "the cooler one" than I'd have to go with Joker.
