I'd say right now its Capt Marvel, Sue Storm, Storm. But I think Jean Grey will replace Storm as the top mutant in the trio.

As far as the general audience is concerned, it's Mary Jane Watson, Mystique, & Black Widow.

although In the next few years I'm gonna say it's going to be Black Widow(Maybe Ms Marvel), Invisible Woman toss up between Storm & Jean

Marvel doesn't really have a "Big Three Ladies."

They have pushed for Ms. Marvel and Spider-Woman to become more prominent in recent years and She-Hulk has had more chances at solo ongoings than any other character I can think of, so it seems Marvel would like to make her one of their top females, too.

for the audience, maybe, Invisible Woman, Storm and She Hulk (maybe now more of Black Widow)

in the Marvel universe, I'd say Ms. Marvel, and the rest is a toss up

After the Avengers movie making a billion dollars I'd have to say Black Widow is #1 at the moment. Storm & Invisible Woman are probably #'s 2 & 3.

Of the 3 options I'd have to go with option A, which has 2 of my three picks anyway. Option B just seems like random female characters with a decent following, but are no where near Marvel's top names. Option C would probably be the answer to "The X-Men's top 3 ladies", but certainly not Marvel as a whole. Option D looks like characters Marvel has attempted to make A-list, but haven't really been successful with yet.

Storm, Mary Jane Watson and Black Widow if we're talking abut fame and popularity with non comic book readers but since that wasn't an option I went with Storm Ms. Marvel and Invisible Woman.

Ms Marvel and Jean are interchangable as far as "leading lady" staus goes. Right now that title goes to Danvers.

@antemiusenteri: I got Storm in there now as top 3. Your speculation on Jean is as good as mine, which is to say its not. And when/if Jean does emerge at her normal levels, she's superior to Storm.

@ThanoStomp: she won't. also it depends on what you mean by "normal" if you mean normal with the phoenix then yeah and if not it's debatable , not to mention jean has been dead for what about 7 years....? all that time storm has been getting more powerful .

Also Storm is definitely one of the leading three , she is one of the most iconic superhero ever , she's possibly the most famous black superhero in the world so i think its a given she is one of the leading three ladies of marvel

Out of this list, I'd say A. In my personal opinion, it'd be Sue Storm, Ms. Marvel, and Jean Grey.

I picked A, but I'd go Storm, Captain Marvel, and Black Widow (due in no small part to her role in the Avengers movie, I think she may get a push in the comics if she can maintain her popularity from ScarJo's great portrayal but we'll see.)

I'd also switch any of them with Sue and/or Jean. But these are the top five I think.

Storm, She-Hulk and Invisible Woman. Though a case or cases could be made for both Black Widow and Phoenix due to the popularity of their respected films.
