Who is best with the prep time?

Who do you consider to be the best with planning, being the best tactician, who pulled off amazing feats with prep time? It doesn't matter if it's on a cosmic scale or not.

I'm asking because I'm not a comic book reader, but I enjoyed superhero stories (and comic stories in gereral) from another sources for years. I really wan't to start reading comics, and I'm interested into a good story which offers mayn twists and plots, with elaborate characters. So, I'm searching for someone who's smart, great with tactics, detective work (optional) - anything.

Thanos, Lucifer, The Doctor, Doom, and Tao are ususally my go to's when it comes to prep. I would have included Reed, but to me he's just some sciency guy who happens to defeat threats with MacGuffins he pulls out of his ass at the last minute. Constantine seems more like a think on your feet guy rather than straight prep/strategist, but I can accept him.

Everyone is different with using their preparation time. Some such as Thanos search for artifacts while others such as Reed Richards makes new inventions.
