Sups hands down. He morals will be on even wend he getting his ass beat ,he will try to help the one doing the beatting or try to find away out without hurting him. This is why a hate the guy, he can go acros the world and end crime but he dosent no one is that good of a person. Anoys the crap out of me, any way thats what makes him one of the greates hero in comics. To have all of that power and keep it on cheack is truely boring. Lol
who is a better superhero? in terms of morals and doing the right thing.
Spider-Man is my boy and all, but over his career he made a deal with Mephisto to alter reality, abandoned Mary Jane during his time when he was trying to be "the spider", was going to kill Sasha Kravinoff during "Grim Hunt" before he was stopped, and would have killed Kingpin upon May's death. From what I can tell, Superman has the most impeccable record.
Either superman or captain America
Professor x being on that list is a complete joke
And please with the great power comes great responsibility thing.he only remembers that line out of guilt.if that robber killed somebody Elses uncle.he'd give zero F***s...maybe not zero but he darn sure wouldn't be who he is now
I still say Spidey and Supes...even though Peter's vocation came from a place of tremendous guilt, he still always strives to do the right thing right until the end.
Superman, while not challenged with tragedy in the same way Bats and Spidey are, he's just a decent fella (at least DCU Supes was) who always did the right thing BECAUSE he was just that decent of a man; plus, he's made the ultimate sacrifice without even flinching.
I've never been convinced by Captain America myself. He gets his reputation from the 'A' on his head more so then what he does IMO. I'm more impressed by people that are actually challenged in life, like Tony overcoming his alcholism (how many times now?) or Thor going back in time and removing his son from existence so Asgard's rule over Earth never happened.
So like a lot of others, I'd put this between Superman & Spidey.
I don't understand why Professor Xavier isn't the top chosen hero. He never resorts to killing anyone and always wants to do the right thing without harming anyone. Even when it comes to his worst of enemies like the phoenix force in the AvX series against Cyclops, he didn't want to kill Cyclops even though he knew he could. Prof. Xavier IMO is the best choice because he never kills and the rest of these super heroes have. Don't go and say that he did because of Onslaught because that wasn't Professor Xavier's mind in control.

Is this out of context? Because it's kind of hard to tell what's really happening here.
he just decided to beat the sh*t out of the x-men for the luz as they tried to calm him down.
He was brainwashed. That's why he said "I fight for the righteousness and the Goddess!" Here's the link.

I don't think Superman's morality is challenged enough for him to be up there. I mean the Marvel Civil War really showed everybody's cards. and personalities. Professor X might be on of the top options out of those choices to be completely honest.
Though if I had to choose which character I think is the most morally uncompromising, it'd be Quasar. Or Ultimate Spiderman, that's another great choice.
Thanks for reading,

If you need uncompromising, how about rorschach?
Rorschach is very...morally questionable to begin with.
@Reignmaker:
Barry Allen would have been a great choice up there, I agree wholeheartedly.
I'd still vote Quasar, but then again I'm a bit of a fanboy.

@Alice_Summers: He killed a rampaging monster, with no regard for life, that killed hundreds, if not thousands of innocent people? What a monster.
Spiderman punched Mary Jane into a wall. Pretty sure she was pregnant as well.
Also Professor X shouldn't be anyones vote. Didn't he basically send Vulcan to his death, then mindrape Scott so he'd forget that Gabriel even existed? WHAT A GOOD GUY.
To be fair, peter was kinda crazy in the 90's, I mean he called himself the spider
I would easily say Superman, his morality has always been an essential part of his character and he easily has the best stories that revolve around the issue of personal responsibility.

Hmm. No doubt about that..not compromising is his speciality, though.

Haters gonna hate? I got a call from the year 2002, they wanted their cliche catchphrase back.

@Alice_Summers: spider-man carelessly killed his girlfriend.
Get your facts right. His GF was falling off bridge, his only chance was to catch her by web, but that cause her neck to break. So it was a no win situation.

Superman fanboy alert...
I like this topic. I've always liked supes and spidey best, I think it's because they seem to help people more. They kind of go on patrol, and help as needed, bad space alien, robbery, people in a fire, cat in a tree, etc. Most 'heroes' seem to only contribute when then can beat up another superpowered badguy, the rest is beneath them or something. I'm sure there are more, and I'm generalizing, and we do want to see fighting. Still though those are two who actually seem to care about helping people not just wailing on people.

Ha, ha. Yea, lol, when I made this account I was just reading the clone saga and had no idea what image to put, so I put this. Ben Reilly is not the Spider-man tho. Maybe he's even the same man, but he's not Spider-man.
