Who hits harder Superman or Goku?

Goku's basic punches and kicks hit with more force, but if Superman is allowed to accelerate first he can use the IMP which is easily bigger and badder than any physical attack Goku can dish out. In a straight up hand to hand fight Goku would wipe the floor with Supes, but if Clark combines strength with speed it's over.

Super man cannot breath in space, he just holds his breath for long periods of time, and I haven't seen the battle of gods movie so I don't know what the new goku is capable of. But no one should be able to breath in space because there is nothing to breath in, it's a vacuum.... And there is no sound in space, sound can only travel through a medium(liquid, gas, solid)...

Anyways My opinion is goku can punch harder. For example the dragon punch he uses against Super android 17 and The omega dragon or whatever his name is, goku can put all of his energy into a single punch...Superman MAY BE ABLE to lift more but that's slightly irrelevant to punching power anyways.

Im gonna say Superman hits harder, his punches clashing with another counterpart were altering reality. That takes a serious amount of force.

Superman is definitely physically stronger based on feats. However, that rarely translates well to a fight, because many more variables than simply strength are involved (speed, environment, fighting ability, etc).

Goku would most likely hit harder due to his fighting ability.

Striking strength =/= lifting strength

Superman. Goku couldn't even dent an opponent made of steel and is lacking already in impressive physical striking. He'd likely be around mountain level.

unlike goku who in one case shakes the universe and in another not even my house while in god form, superman is actually consistent so i’ll go with him
