I'd also like to add that Sinestro, Captain Cold, and Darkseid all have pretty badass names too... At least to me, anyways...

@homeslice: Yes. Beta ray bill is one of the coolest names ever. Any other greek letter-ray-first name combinations just sounds stupid or nerdy. Alpha ray adam? nope. Gamma ray greg? try again. omega ray olin? not quite the ring to it.
