I chose Batman because his villains all have a distinct flavour and motivation, whereas many of Spider-Nan's foes are simply common criminals with animal motifs. Batman's villains also tend to be more complex and operate at a higher level of crime than Spidey's, forcing Bruce to unravel complex schemes, grand conspiracies and whatnot. It's the difference between a "full-time" and "part-time" superhero. Spidey's rogues are great for their own reasons, but Batman's are more interesting, on average.
