Who has the better origin (in your opinion), Orion or thor?

Please pffer a brief explanation as to why you prefer one over the other.

Thor has one of the most boring origins of any character. He is a mythological being who was thought up thousands of years ago and turned into a comic book character. I dont like any Comic Book protagonists based public domain works, its just lazy and uninteresting. Sure, allow the mythological gods to exist, and use them in stories, but not a one should be a main character, imo.

Also, Orion's origin is a really unique and uniquely dark, origin. New Gods are where it's at.
