Who has the best roster of villains, DC or Marvel?

DC

DC has more iconic villains like Joker, Lex Luthor, etc., but that doesn't make them better. Overall, I think DC and Marvel are equals when it comes to villains.

Seconded. For Marvel, it always comes down to the big 2 for me: Dr. Doom and Magneto.

When Marvel plans for a Villains Month there might be more of an argument.

I'd have to say Marvel... I prefer DC though (pre 52). Between Doctor Doom (My favorite), Thanos, Ultron, Venom (Iconic I mean), Galactus (he counts as an Antagonist), Loki (underrated imo), etc.. Marvels best villains make you feel like you could be swayed to their side, Doom and Magneto in particular for me.

DC: Joker, Luthor, Darkseid, Nekron (badass lol), Brainiac, Doomsday (kinda but not great)... DC's villains feel more threatening but have less depth IMO...

Yeah I'd have to say DC too. Marvel has Doctor Doom, beyond that the villains themselves don't really interest me. And Magneto hasn't been a true villain for a while.

As said before, though DC has more threatening villains most are pretty one-dimensional and shallow compared to Marvel's. So Marvel for now.

@viin true, it's about time villains got their time to shine, without them Superheroes wouldn't be as popular.

DC. Marvel's "villains" sway from good to evil too often.

Over all I would go with DC, but the Spiderman villains are some of my top favorites. Besides, I don't know why people like Doom so much. He's a meh in my opinion.
