Captain America. He's taken on threats just as powerful and dangerous as the threats that Hal faces, but Cap does it without one of the most powerful weapons in the universe and still comes out on top.

as said in the other thread that's more courage then will.

will·pow·er or will pow·er(wlpour)n. The strength of will to carry out one's decisions, wishes, or plans. (http://www.thefreedictionary.com/willpower)
I'd say Cap fits this definition pretty darn well. I'd say he has as much willpower as any Green Lantern and even more courage. We're talking about a man who has faced the odds more times than I can count, who has gone up against threats even when he knew that the chances of him winning were slim, he's pushed himself through challenge after challenge, faced threat after threat, all with his own strength and determination. His will to win, even at the cost of his own life has been shown countless times over the years, and he does it all without a power ring.
Hal's willpower is great, but it's nowhere near Cap's willpower.

Also what is courage but will power in the face of fear. Any GL fan should know this. So the more courageous Cap is the more Will power he has exerted in positions of fear. Hence, helping the argument for Cap :p
Pretty much. To be a Green Lantern, one must be able to overcome great fear, which is exactly what "courage" is.
ˈkərij,ˈkə-rij/nounnoun: courage1.the ability to do something that frightens one.
So really, willpower is the "will" to have courage to face ones fears.
Voting Hal.
The Parallax ordeal, Dead Zone fiasco, and his ability to overcome the impurity come to mind.
Why was this made? The willpower argument can be made for literally most of and if not all superheroes.
CIN.
Brace yourselves. The marvel fan boys are coming with cap
Doing things literally any green lantern could do without their rings.....
this post just made your thread nul and void. if you wanted a thread where you want people to pat GL on the back for his willpower you shold've made it like that. creating a poll and immediately antagonizing captain america fans is just asking for it. if that's what you were going for, shame on you. if not, think before posting.
Hard one. Caps done amazing things and fights huge threats without aid from a Gl ring which is an amazing show of willpower and skill then again Hal has shown the no problem attempting to take on superhuman threats without the aid of a GL ring as well as without the benefit of a serum that turns you into the paragon of physical perfection. i cant be sure.
Voted for Captain America. It's hard to quantify Hal's willpower because his ring relies solely on will and creativity alone.
@turel_hash_ak_gik: I didn't make tha thread....
@sog7dc: yeah my bad but my point stands.
@turel_hash_ak_gik: Lol your whole point was based on
Me making the thread. I did not so your points aren't points at all
@sog7dc: you are still antagonizing marvel fans or cap fans.

Captain America has the most willpower in any comic book character I have ever seen.
What has Captain America actually done so that people say he has more willpower than Hal freaking Jordan?

What are caps feats of willpower
Ran around dimension z for years with Zola infecting his mind. after zola steals caps son, cap takes a knife and cuts the zola virus out of himself. then still goes on to fight zola and his army.
I think Cap.
@turel_hash_ak_gik: Your comparing a character whos main weapon is will power to cap. It's like if I said Hal was better with a vibranium shield than Steve Rogers.....it's silly
@sog7dc: no, hal's main weapon is his ring. you know the convenient plot device. hal's character is all about having the willpower to overcome great fear but when the going gets tough he quits or turns evil. that is why cap shall always best him if he had a GL ring.
@turel_hash_ak_gik: A ring that does not work without will power....and are you taking shots a GLs now? I could just as easily say the super sdier serum is a plot device. Quits or becomes evil? Yeah because that's the whole story. Whenever things get tough Hal quits or becomes evil. That's why he killed Kronos and escaped the dead zone and now leads the entire GLC....
Hal.
Because Willpower is the main trait of the character. I am sure that Cap has great willpower but Hal's main weapon his "Super-power" is Will.
this
Really? Cap is winning? Fail, CV. Fail.
@wolverine08: I would totally combat that if I could post pictures on my iPad.
I don't understand how one can measure willpower, thus how you can claim person A has more than person B.
And that's why I say Battles are just a popularity contest. And Cap is way too much overrated.
Well, that's just like, your opinion man.
@rulerofthisuniverse: dude! Hal took the lead!
