Which one do you think was better and try to give an explanation why ?
Who had a better story line Justice League series or DBZ
Justice league just for this

And giving terry McGinnis a satisfying conclusion
@jedixman: exactly, love or hate batman, this episode proved just what makes him so great
Justice League, After Frieza, Toriyama pretty much just went to do anything he can just to keep the franchise going, good or terrible ideas be damned.
Took the words out of my mouth
Justice League. The Justice Guild story, the Cadmus story, and especially the Starcrossed stories were fun, engaging, and interesting.
I've said this many times before but DBZ when it comes to story, is bland, repetitive, slow, and predictable.
Purty much
Justice League has better stories, having different heroes and villains, narratives, going to different worlds and universes and so much more that there was a purpose for the members to team up and do what they do best. Just seeing our favorite superheroes working together to fight a greater evil bigger than themselves animated was awesome and good things has come out from it since then.
I still love DBZ and there were some good moments/episodes in a story arc of the series but some of the problems they had at the time could be solved if they used they're brains a bit more rather than fight there opponents most the time; a good example is the Semi-Cell arc where Goku could've just teleported Cell into the sun and be done with the situation while he and Gohan was waiting for Vegeta and Trunks to get out of the Room of Spirit and Time. Hell, it would have been more awesome if all four just attacked Cell and just ignore the tournament rules, but that would interfere with everyones motives and it wouldn't be a story, would it.
Justice League obviously
You'd have to had never experienced a good story in your life to think DBZ had a story worth mentioning.
@nerd_of_a_hero: how could he IT cell into the sun when nothing is on the sun
@dbzk1999: The sun would've incinerated Cell and destroyed all of his cells so that he wouldn't regenerate. And yes, I know Cell had freeze's cell's but he wouldn't be able to absorb the cyborgs since he's so far away in space which will give them plenty of time to train and get stronger.
@darling_luna: It did.... It's just that all the fighting, yelling, transformations, explosives, trash talking, earth shattering chaos and as such just padded out the story.
@nerd_of_a_hero: no I mean literally there's nothing on it, goku wouldn't be able to teleport to it even if he wanted to
justice league just because of the justice lords and their long term effect.
@nerd_of_a_hero instant transmission requires a ki signature to be locked or somewhat a place of familiarity given the events of that short film of tarble. the sun isn't exactly familiar to him nor does anyone with a ki signature live there
I love Dragon Ball Z and all, but Justice League definitely had better story lines.
Justice League is just so much more dynamic than Dragon Ball-- without the feeling of nostalgia, Dragon Ball just feels like a show with a repetitive plot with no depth, or complexity. Its easy to think of Dragon Ball's story lines like a Mario side-scrolling game; The adventure is pretty much the same, with the addition of some new villains, and new power ups, but the endgame is usually the same.
Dragonball up until the end of the Freiza saga had a better storyline but after that Justice League had a better storyline. I still enjoyed Dragonball more though although both were entertaining.
Justice League presented a plethora of characters who each had a worthy spot in the limelight and a series of interesting issues. It was probably the only instance of time in which the Question was my favourite character, and Superman's World of Cardboard speech is part of what got me into Superman as a character. It goes on to target the moralities and problems that occur with the existence of super powered individuals in modern day society and refused to make absolutely everything as black and white as most might see it.
DBZ, as others have said, is largely repetitive and focusses solely on fighting, with each character existing solely to push the importance of Goku, a character whose only notable character development to recent memory is the revelation in BoG of him disliking the fact that he has to rely on his friends, something that I honestly can't recall coming up in the show previously. DBZ isn't devoid of these issues of course. Gohan gets decent character development during the Cell Saga as he learns that it's ok to let go once in a while. Mr. Satan and Maijin Buu's interactions prove that one shouldn't judge a book by its cover (though, even with a child like mind, a mass murderer is still a mass murderer.)
For overall quality, I would say Justice League had the better writing by quite a large margin.
DBZ's story is more influential and I think it's pretty good for it's time, the overall JLU story was more episodic than extended saga based. I think they're both good in different, less comparable ways, though DBZ had more arbitrary villains from nowhere.
@darling_luna: ... You're so awesome when it comes to that kind of sh!t. *hugs and kisses you for that statement*
@kyrees: Forgot about that little detail, but he still could've sent him somewhere or at least get everyone out of there so Cell wouldn't find them and Vegeta & Trunks would've finished the rest.
@life_without_progress: *sprays geek repel* Thanks
But I'm just cat trolling. Nothing wrong with simple story, yet even by that standard DBZ still noticeably feels repetitive.
@darling_luna: Hmmmm ... K But what the heck was the geek repel for?
@life_without_progress: Cause you one *sprays more*
Such a mismatch.
Obviously Justice League for story!
@articulatet: @nerd_of_a_hero: the androids/cyborgs don't give off ki signatures by the time goku got there they were already gone
@Artculate
Goku has disliked having help from his friends as far back as the original db, just to refresh your memory
