Out of his oldest and youngest son who does he care about the most? Dick Or Damian.
Who Does Bruce care about more? Damian or Dick?
Well I'd say he cares about them all equally. Damian's death really affected him so it's shown more there than it has with Dick. Dick is kind of his first son when you think about it, regardless of their falling out.
I would say dick. He has known him longer, and he threatened to kill lex luthor if he hurt him and then proceeded to beat the crap out of him. Damians death didn't affect batman as much as Jason todds death did, and batman cares about dick more than he cares about jason
@t_hench: lol . But yea I think he prefers Dick over Damian
I think he is more intimate with Dick. He gives dick more affection and care because Dick is so small.......................

@the_stegman: Not in the new52 he hasnt Dick was only with Bruce for like two years before he went off to be Nightwing

F*ck the New 52 and its sucky Batman chronology!
@skit: yes batman cares for Dick.
@comicstooge: well Bruce was going to kill lex luthor for trying to kill dick too.
@jayc1324: Damian was the only one in DOFT who still trusted Bruce and was the first person he saved from Joker's death trap.
Their bond is stronger.
@comicstooge: well it makes sense he saves the little kid first. Dick comes to Bruce's house and just chats and jokes around with him for fun. No other Robin does that.
@jayc1324: Chatting and joking aren't in Damian's nature.
Bruce and Damian had father/son brooding time.
@comicstooge: But Damian and Bruce don't interact on the level that bruce and dick do. Not to mention Bruce knew dick longer and actually raised him.
@oosupermanthathoeoo: that is actually a very misunderstood proverb. Most would assume then that, by this logic, Bruce would care more about Damian than Dick. But actually its the opposite.
The "blood" of the covenant is thicker than the "water" of the womb. Which means the "water of the womb," or our family relationships, is not as strong as the "blood" of the covenant. "Blood", shared by family, was to be interpreted as literal blood. The blood that is shed by soldiers on the battlefield makes for stronger bonds than those of the family you happened by chance to be born into.
I do think that the relationship between Dick and Bruce is stronger and that in their case the "blood" is stronger than the "water" ;)
Too much? lol
@jayc1324: Not in the New 52, he didn't raise him.
In the short time he spent with Damian, they had far more personal moments than Bruce and Dick.
@t_hench: Interesting contention, thanks. I replied in haste, honestly I know that Bruce and Dick have greater shared experience. But in trying to empathize with the situation, I can't help but feel that I would instinctively possess a much more organic, and strengthened connection to a biological relative especially a son or daughter.
These right here. Are Why Bruce is the Father of the year every year. Even with Jason
