Damn! I would love to see Parasite or Brainiac!

Brainiac. But don't call him Brainiac. An alien that collects data and specimens from worlds and then destroys them.

"Brainiac" (I agree with @kal_smahboi, don't call him Brainiac) would be a perfect fit for this universe.

seems alot of people are favouring brainiac but after one alien invasion i think doin brainiac soon after would be too much,maybe work in Lex Luthor man of the people to bring things back down to earth and then go for brainiac in the third part.

I didn't want to vote for Batman, but I was told not to so.......... . .. . .

There should be an option for "Please Don't Make Another Man Of Steel Movie."

I would like to see a movie with Lex exploring the mistrust of Superman that realistically many humans would be bound to have following the events of the first movie.

No option for "Superman caring about collateral damage"? Sad day.

If they go for a complete trilogy his next foe should be Brainiac. For the third and final movie they should timeskip a couple years and end it with a bang by bringing in Doomsday. Epic Trilogy Complete

Although my initial reaction was to choose someone new like Braniac, the way they ended Man of Steel leaves room for no other character in my mind other than Lex Luthor. Superman was the cause of his city burning to the ground. He probably lost friends and family, he definitely lost millions of dollars. Never has Luthor had a more justified reason to hate and fear Superman. If they hold off on the Lex movie, I don't think the impact will be quite the same. Besides, even though Luthor has already been in 3 of the 5 movies, he's never actually been done well.

Lex Luthor. Becuase Brainiac seems like a character perfect for the last film, like an invasion. Lex can appear in the last one as well.

After the awesome fight scenes in the first film I've gotta go with Doomsday

I was going to say Brainiac but you changed my mind. Anyways its between either Brainiac or Luthor for me. And if any hero appears in MoS 2 then it should be Martian Manhunter.

I would like Lex to be the main villain, just seems right. Also, I would like Bruce Wayne to make a cameo somewhere in there. Whether it be at a Lex fund-raiser, or whatever rich people do. Lol, but i'll like to see bruce wayne in there somehow. It would make the fans go nuts.

I think Superman cares about collateral damage, but this MOS was a very "rookie," Superman. I don't think he knew how to stop it, nor how to save those people w/o doing what he did to stop Zod. But he needs to learn that in the next movie. He needs to take a stand against bringing damage Earth against Brainiac, and take a stand against killing by stopping Lex without brutal force. That's the movie I'd like- basically, the next level of development of this Superman. So by movie 3 or JL, he's the noble hero we all know.

Braniac could be interesting, but how many times will they have Superman defending the planet from destruction? They can't keep obliterating Metropolis every film.

The idea of the Kryptonian colonies does open the door to Supergirl. I found it kind of odd that ALL the colonies killed each other.

I would like to see Lex, Supergirl, and Brainiac. I think Lex should be praised as a hero for the rebuilding of Metropolis (with a mention of thanks to Wayne industries donation). I think Supergirl and Brainiac could go hand-in-hand for the film (not literally lol).

I'd love to see Parasite,Metallo or Mongul.It would be good to see Brainiac also but I'm not such a big fan of him.

The reason why I feel that it should be Brainiac is because Superman will already have a negative impact on the world after the alien attack and he will have more haters than supporters. Add Lex Luthor to that and putting the public on his side in the second movie after a Brainiac attack and it creates a perfect plot.

A raw UNCHAINED Kara, with action scenes like Faora (who was amazing in MOS) would be awesome! Heard she was in the Walmart exclusive digital comic.

if they introduce supergirl they can use it as a gateway for both brainiac and darkseid

I think Lex would work best for the second movie, and Brainiac would be good for a third.

I don't really want to see anymore villains with problems that can be solved through a fist fight. I feel it would be too similar to the first movie if they did that.

I'm pretty sure that Morrison gave us a pre-Brainiac story, Superman's first encounter with the being. What we saw was just his probes, while the actual being (the one we know) was elsewhere. It makes sense because Superman encountered "Brainiac" many many times before Johns' version showed up in pre-New 52 continuity. I think at least that much was saved in the reboot.

Intro Supergirl/Lex in an Earth based story. Maybe fighting less alien second class villians.

MOS3 use the momentum from Kara to open a Brainiac movie, that ends with a few Darksied hints. Meanwhile showing that there are other important people doing odd things: Wayne, Allen, and an island with Amazons?

Use those Darksied whispers to generate the Justice League movie.

PARASITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Make the Man of Steel fear for his own safety for the first time on the big screen without a Kryptonite plot device.

They could even tie him to some of the first movie. Maybe he collected one of Kryptons outposts or at least tried to which caused the destruction of the camps / outposts.

I would like a Lex Luthor/Brainiac team-up movie. Lex finds out aliens like Superman exist. Goes out of his way to build a worm hole machine to find more alien weaponry and instead ends up finding brainiac causing Brainiac to come to earth. Honestly I would like Lex to just be in the background not the front villain. The guy playing with everything behind the scenes to try to get people to hate Superman. Also, though it's unlikely since it wasn't mentioned in flashbacks, I'd like Lex and Clark to have some kind of childhood connection to each other. My favorite stories for Lex have always been when he was actually part of Clark's childhood growing up. If they just went with the Birthright version of it I'd be super happy.
