Superman - because if he was in the real world they would either hate him or worship him or try to kill him too.

This has to be a joke. Superman is the only major superhero who's completely unrelatable to humans. Even he knows that.

TBH with you, Superman isn't really that popular. He's famous but I have seen dozens of more people sketching batman and spiderman as a kid. The appeal of spiderman and batman is because they're relatable. Superman if famous because he's the first modern superhero

Railgun. Yes she has powers, but in her world that's normal. She's realistic because she doesn't need some dark backstory or bazaar sense of justice to do what she does. She does it simply because it's fun and because she can. She's pretty much a tomboy who enjoys picking fights and just happens to have superpowers. Take those powers away and she'd fit right in as a realistic character in any sort of non-action story.

If we are talking about what the character stands for/ or represents.. then superman for sure..

Any street leveler that isn't above a 3 tonner. The peakest humans in RL cap at about 3 tons.
