Who do you think is the antagonist in Suicide Squad
Obviously Slipknot. With the power to tie all sorts of knots this spells trouble for the Suicide Squaders.
@judasnixon: don't you dare talk about my little furry bundle of joy like that!
@lone_wolf_and_cub: Lol how could i be so blind . Lol but im pretty sure he dies first.
I dunno if Joker is a big enough threat to warrant an entire strike force of super villains. I imagine there's some bigger threat and the Joker breezes in to cause even more chaos.
I doubt it's Joker a little bit. Deadshot said "Let's go save the world". I doubt the entire world will be in danger by the Joker, but it's not impossible.
I think Joker will start out as the main objective, but Enchantress is going to get things flying off the rails.
Hopefully Joker is like some wild card who messes shit up and isn't the main villain. Slipknot will be fodder. Enchantress might be it or maybe we'll get a surprise. I don't know.
Joker, and Harley Quinn will stab everyone in the back to be with him.
All scenes we've seen from joker including the set pics and car chase all look like flashback scenes.
Joker
Joker.
Joker
@masterkungfu: I dont think he is world threatening
I'd bet on it being similar to the Dark Knight ending: They finish up the main bad guy, their real target whose been driving the plot of the movie, probably due to having a world-ending chemical weapon. Throughout the movie, they've had a couple Hannibal Lecter style talks with Joker in his cell. Either as a reward for Harley or for his expertise on chemical weapons, if he's made his laughing gas in this continuity (which'd be nice for once). Either way: They've established his character.
Probably be a moment during the finale where they lose communications with Waller, assume the signal's been jammed by the enemy, and they have to decide to either press forward and save the world at risk to themselves, or make a break for it. Will Smith convinces them to press on, they do so, stop the bad guy, whoopee. Cue Waller contacting the group and revealing that communications weren't jammed: They were cut off when the Joker broke out of his cell and tore through the prison, unleashing chaos as he went. While they confronted the bad guy, Joker's already reached the bomb and rigged it to unleash his laughing gas instead. Cue the real grand finale.
So like the Dark Knight: You've got your main bad guy, beat him, then you've got the secondary antagonist who nicely ties things up.
