Do you like Captain America or Batman better?
(Coffee Talk Complete!)
As standalone characters, I'll take Cap over Batman.
But if we're including their allies and villains, Batman's the man.
I don't like Batman much, but he is Batman. I find him more interesting, and like above posters have said, his villains are among the best in the business. Cap would win in a close up fight I believe (what, with all those steroids in his blood and whatnot).

Can I say a tie? But including villains and all then Batman.
No fence sitting. There can be only one! (I hope that's the Quickening shooting up my arm... 911!)
Batman, I fill my optimistic and inspiring character quota with Superman (who I like more than Batman). If it wasn't for that Cap would probably have a shot
Bats... Cause I ain't American. Cap is much more of a "hero" though and I still I like him, but the patriotism thingie kinda does nothing to get me hyped.
Batman better stories, villians, he is very complex & well developed character. batman has always been the more interesting hero to me than capt. america. capt. america is a soldier trying to adapt a world he no longer knows and still be a patriotic hero.
Batman. I can't get over the fact that without the SSS, Cap would be nothing, let alone even being there. He's still better anyways.
Tell that to the X Men lol.I love the fact that every hero in the Marvel universe follows Cap unquestioningly even though most are more powerful and how he is nothing but inspirational to everyone that he talks.
@The Stegman: Ha. yea. Definitely should have put an Xmen disclaimer in there. Cyclops' X-men anyways. I think the difference is that Cap seems that he loves and cares for almost everyone he works with. Batman's brooding nature makes it seems like he merely tolerates their presence. Both great characters but I still prefer Cap's character better.
