@blackstaroblivion: Wait he kills Captain and then says no? wut
Who Could Break A Block of Adamantium?
If Sir George smashes it with the sword Ascalon, would it count? The thing can destroy planets and survive planetary explosions unscathed.
Probably NRG with containment suit on, Ultimate Way Big, Atomix, or Kevin after absorbing Taydenite.

No Jobbing Thor(He dented secondary Adamantium while holding back), Worldbreaker Hulk, sundipped IMP Superman all might be able to dent or crack it just barely, but nobody would be able to totally destroy it without something to rearrange molecules or Atoms if we're talking True Adamantium.
Trion Juggernaut is another good suggestion
@shaniqualoveskfc: LOL....LOL...JUST.. LOL
Goku wouldn't on his finest day. He could go USSJ1000X 200 and not even make a scratch.
Anyway, Thanos. He pimpslapped Cap's shield apart which is made of Vibranium and Adamantium, I think, which make it stronger. Plus isn't Vibranium > Adamantium anyway?
No. Vibranium is not as durable as adamantium. Mixing a more durable substance with a less durable substance would not make it more durable than the original substance.
Cap's shield is more durable than normal Adamantium because of the catalyst that caused the two materials to merge at the subatomic level and it gained the durability of Adamantium, and the ability to absorb impacts like Vibranium.
Comic book logic, much like Nintendo logic, makes people who know science scratch their heads.
@conner_wolf: Is there anything from the comics, handbooks, or writer statements that indeed state that Cap's Alloy Shield > True Adamantium?
@mysticmedivh: I'm sure there is, but overall it just seems to be recognized as fact that Cap's shield trumps Vibranium and Adamantium in durability. I might be able to find a statement somewhere about it in the morning.
caps shield is made of adamantium, vibranium, and uru, according to one of the top heads at marvel
Could you show me the statement?

its taking too long. go to this URL and scroll down to about 5 months ago and the hit ctrl F and type in uru in the prompt to see if you can find that post. maybe its even further back than 5 montsh
So Adamantium is indestructible right? BULLSH*T it is (well I think so anyway)! Let's see who could break a block of adamantium!
Lets assume the block of adamantium is like a Minecraft style block (1 meter x 1 meter x 1 meter)
A couple of rules:
- No molecular, atomic, or other hax mode attacks
- Pretty much only from a sort of physical attack. Blast, Punch, Infinite Mass Punch, Whatever!
Well, nobody is breaking Primary Adamantium. You need to be skyfather level, and everytime I've seen them do it they use pure powers or at least have energy surrounding their physical assaults which lead me to believe even those are molecular altering.
Secondary Adamantium on the other hand could be broken by Hulk, Thor, Superman etc level characters.

I don't have an issue citation (though I think it's from an 80's team up for Cap and Wolverine, where they battle Tess 1), but check this out. The bottom panel on the left is the one to focus on.

I can.
@mysticmedivh: when all the heroes attacked thanos, he had the infinity gauntlet right? then why did he brawl it out with them?
