I'd say Nightwing.

In my opinion, Spider Man cannot be qualified for this as he is a super human. I value parkour masters as pick/olympic grade human beings with incredible athletic abilities. Spidey is too enhanced for me, but that's just my opinion of a parkour artist.

@jonny_anonymous: No doubt. To set Nightwing apart from Bats you need to cater to the different skillset he brings to the table. Advantages that Bruce can never hope to match. Capoeira's style realizes this, it's right up Graysons alley:

He can dance around foes acrobatically (something he does regularly in combat); as a peak olympic he possesses enough in reserve to maintain fighting for extended periods where others would exhaust their tanks earlier on; since the use of capoeira draws upon ones leg strength to produce thudding kicks and other blows generated around torquing the foot, use of arm strikes is redundant--unless you throw a couple of static escrima into the equation and see how Dick finds a way to integrate it into his offensive arsenal making up for the lack of effective hand-to-handedness missing from capoeira.

I smell a new thread coming..

@jean199999: I thought the point of this thread was to find the best, not the most fair.

How did it take 17 posts to mention Nightwing? The new 52 even specifically incorporated parkour into his origin.

@sheenlantern: Still wouldn't matter. Parkour is about technique, and Spider-Man lacks technique. He simply takes advantage of his superhuman acrobatic abilities and equilibrium to perform stunts - stunts which lack technique, just like his standard hand-to-hand moves.

Nightwing actually has peak-human parkour technique, being capable of doing what Spidey can in this department without superpowers. Grayson is easily the best parkour runner in comics.

Parkour technique is all about training your acrobatic ability and equilibrium. Who cares how he got it, what matters is he has them and they're superior to Nightwing's.

@sheenlantern: Yes, but Nightwing's parkour technique > Spider-Man's. Spidey just flips and jumps like an average guy with superhuman agility (which he is). Nightwing actually has technique.

Spider-Man has zero technique. Just look at the scans posted above. Technique is what sets Nightwing apart from Spider-Man in parkour.

@klad: Not really, but when mediocrity is evident from a single page, I lol. It's the same old friend/gf being murdered to give the hero motivation/brooding fuel. Plus, inner monologue while traversing the city acrobatically as recap/exposition is cliche as heck in super hero comics. Idk, maybe I'm totally wrong and that comic's awesome.

@klad: Again, what does technique allow you to do? It allows you to control your momentum, gives you more control over your body, better flexibility etc. All this comes naturally to Spider-Man, he doesn't need to train to do it.

@sheenlantern: Because, you moron, being capable > skill. Nightwing is the best at parkour in comics by virtue of having more skill technique. Spider-Man has no skill for parkour, and isn't even as good at it as Nightwing to begin with.

Obviously people like Spider-Man, NIghtcrawler and Beast have an advantage because they're capable of inhuman feats, but as far as peak humans go, I think Daredevil and Nightwing are the best.

Grayson #4 gives us a great example of Dick's freerunning skills when he's chased through St. Hadrians. Of course there's tons and tons of examples when it comes to Nightwing. He's got to be somewhere in the top 5..

Yes, and Spider-Man is capable of greater feats that would fall under the classification of "parkour".

Nightwing is the best at parkour in comics by virtue of having more skill technique.

No, Spider-Man is the best at parkour by virtue of being able to move faster, more fluidly, more efficiency and any other tangible method of quantifying how good someone is at parkour.

Spider-Man has no skill for parkour

Of course he does. See the scans above.

, and isn't even as good at it as Nightwing to begin with.

lol, yeah. He's better at parkour than a guy with a 50ft vertical leap. Sure.
