I realize the irony of this question. One can't really convey taste from the pages of our favorite comic books. For the sake of argument let's suspend our disbelief. I've been thinking about doing an Iron Chef style battle in the forums but then I realized I can't name many cooks in the kitchen that is comic books. I can actually name quite a few chefs from manga and anime so let's exclude those for now. Hell some of those series are all about cooking so it's kind of unfair. Who do you think are the greatest chefs in the world of comic books? Most characters probably know HOW to cook but who seem like best?

Best I could come up with is Alfred Pennyworth and Ma Kent. Wong cooks for Doctor Strange all the time. I'm really behind on Chew but I'll bet there is at least one central character who is a chef. There's also Anna Maria Marconi, the little person in Superior Spider-Man. I think Doctor Doom can cook if not just to prove he's better at it than Reed Richards. I'm sure I'm over looking a bunch of really obvious ones.

I'm more amazed by his face - that's how Tasky looks under the mask? Like a Backstreet Boy?

Never thought of Taskmaster. An interesting choice. Is it really him who is great cooking or the people he's mimicking? In a cook off it would almost be like Tasky is not the one competing but rather the skills of others.

I'm not sure I'd include Ollie in the list of 'great Chefs'...

Nay.

The best chef is undoubtedly Greet. He is the head chef of the cafeteria on Oa. He is able to recreate dishes from across the universe...but has trouble making Earth food :P

By IRL standards these are crappy

Oooo that's a good one. I figured Oa had a mess hall I just never thought most of the dishes would come from a single dude. Seems like he'd be a shoe-in for Iron Chef of comics.
