Poll which year had the best comicbook movies (22 votes)
THOR.
2012, just because of sheer volume of GOOD CBMs. Dark Knight Rises, Avengers, and Amazing Spider-man? Sign me up.
Id give it to this year, but MoS was really the only exceptional CBM this year.
2008: The Dark Knight, Iron Man, and The Incredible Hulk
2012: The Avengers, The Amazing Spider-Man, and the Dark Knight Rises

2008, as far as I'm concerned.

What? I liked the Incredible Hulk.

I still think 2008 is the year to beat. Iron Man and Dark Knight destroyed the box office and still stand as two shining examples of how good these movies can be. 2012 was the year of the Avengers and it was great. But I personally was more a fan of Looper and Argo that year.
@longbowhunter: In addition to Looper and Argo, Skyfall and Django Unchained were phenomenal that year.
Hmm...lemme see here:
2011
Thor-good
Captain America-meh
Green Lantern-meh
X-Men: First Class-excellent
2012
Ghost Rider 2-atrocious
Amazing Spider-Man-good
Avengers-excellent
Dark Knight Rises-great
2013
Thor 2-great
Iron Man 3-great (don't hate me)
Wolverine-excellent
Man of Steel-excellent
So out of those 3, 2013. But I'd say 2008 was the best of all time.
2015 will be on this list
Even next year, despite not having the star power necessarily, has 4 pretty damn good looking movies.
Or 3 at least. Since we don't have a GotG trailer ;P
I for one thing ASM looks ...amazing and Cap 2 could potentially be the best MCU to date (still IM1 to me)

2014 is looking like a crazy good year for CBMS. 2015 might just be mind blowing.

Will they be big movies? Sure.
But outside of Avengers 2 and Batman/Superman, is anyone really excited that for Ant-Man? Especially when we know nothing about it?
2014 might not be the "big movies" but so far, the first 3 have all looked excellent.
@fallschirmjager: I'm f###ing pumped for Ant-Man! It's right behind Batman/Superman for me.
I can't get enough Edgar Wright.

I am pumped for Ant-Man. Second Fav Character ever.

I think all of his movies have sucked personally.
@fallschirmjager: Heresy!
Definitely this year. Man of Steel was amazing. The Wolverine was way better than I expected. I'm one of the people that loved Iron Man 3. Thor 2 was disappointing but still a really fun movie. I did not dislike it.
Those 4 beat any other year.

2012 had better comic book movies.
2013 just has better movies. (Ender's Game, Pacific Rim, Catching Fire and above all else, Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug will be coming out this Friday)
I only admit 2013 < 2012 because Man Of Steel was pretty epic for me simply because of how large a fan of Superman I am. IM3 wasn't that amazing and Thor 2 was decent, but 2012 delivered on all fronts.
