Which would you rather do? Writer Vs Artists...

Writer.I am 16 and I have plans for creating my own characters and I have already created some.

I think most of us would choose writer since I assume that most of us are pretty bad at drawing muscular humans :P

I think I'd love to do both, but for now, an artist probably.

Writer, I can barely make stick figures with a pen.

Writer. Although I would love to be as good as some of the artists on Marvel or DC.

Artist. I love doing character designs........ Even though I really want to write an epic story about space pirates one day.

While I'm more capable of Writing, and wouldn't mind writing a comic or two, I'd love to be an Artist. I do envy those who can draw, and those who draw for comics even more, so I'd love to have that capability.

It feels like the writer would be the one in control, the one with the imagination, so a writer on my part.

I'd rather be an Artist. The most awesome writing is nothing without an artist, But without a writer the artist can still do great looking drawings.

Definitely be a writer. be in control of where the story goes and can work on a lot more projects. You can plot out very far in advance while you await the completion of the drawings. Plus, writers get most of the credit. It was Brubaker's Captain America. No one mentions Epting even though his art was amazing. Artists switch between books all the time and no one seems to bat an eye lash but if a writer leaves, it is headline news.

Writer I am actually good at it.I did an art course at school and I was going to carry it on but didn't.I am not great at drawing really.

Artist, my drawing style has improved, but I still have a ways to go, which is fine with me.

Writer, I'm horrible at drawing.

Writer. I have managed to write so many fan fictions of X-Men and The Angry Beavers and I would love for some of the stories that I have written in my fan fictions to come in the comics. I can draw a bit, but not as good as some of the best artists.

Writer without question. Writers control the story, Artists just make it look cool.

I am pretty good at both drawing and writing stories but i pick writer because drawing comics are tiring as hell you need not only good skills but also good patience. Also did Stan Lee first start of as a writer or a artist?
