Usually, the comic book version of a character is regarded as greater than the movie depiction (in practically all aspects). But, is there a TV/movie character who is greater than his/her comic book self?
Which TV/movie character is greater his/her comic book self?
Rorschach.
Lol...everything good about Rorschach in the movie was transposed directly from the comic series. The Watchmen movie was hopelessly derivative. Why bother dragging the viewer through your personal, two-hour, word-for-word, color-drained adaptation of Watchmen when so much of the atmosphere, details and creative intent is thrown on the cutting room floor? Alan Moore was right; it should never have been made. Watchmen was a deconstruction of the super hero comic book, whereas the movie was a misbegotten "me too."
To answer the OP's question, possibly the Men in Black.
I actually think movie Black Widow is superior to comic Black Widow.
Others have said Big Hero 6, and I agree with that as well (even though I only have little knowledge of their comic book selves, just going off what little I know/seen).
@darling_luna: BtAS Harley Quinn.
@darling_luna: BtAS Harley Quinn.
Of course! Why else would she be transposed to the comics from the cartoon in the first place?
Arkhamverse Batman
Whaaaaaat?
@neghead: Haha nice.
@darthmummy: to be honest I loved the movie. I feel like every character was better than their comic counterparts (at least physically anyways).
