Which Superhero has the best costume and origin?

Hi,

Thinking about collecting another superhero and the way I choose them is first I look at the costume. If I like it, I have a look at the superheroes origin because it can tell me on whether the backbones of the stories are good.

I'm pretty hopeless at picking as there are thousands of superheroes out there.

If you are willing to suggest any superheroes please let them be from Marvel or DC.

Well its easily X-O manwar, He is from Valiant Comics

Longshot - his back story is hilarious and almost meta in its' breaking of the fourth wall yet there are aspects of legitimate angst to it. And I like how basic his costume is, even with the '80s mullet.

Costume - Punisher

Simple and effective.

Origin - Superman

It's classic and nothing tragic had to happen to him to get him to do good. He just wants to help.

I like Batman's costume and origin. Nightwing's too.

But I love Hal Jordan's origin. It's probably the one i would most want for myself. I couldn't imagine how awesome it would be for an Oan Green Lantern power ring to zing in one day and tell me I've been chosen as one capable of overcoming great fear. Then tell me I've been selected to serve the GL Corps for sector 2814. What an honor. Then to be able to fly amongst the stars and explore and defend the vast universe with other GLs? What a spectacle that would be. It's like the adult equivalent to being chosen for Hogwart's school of magic.

Sentry has potential to be one of the deepest, most compelling, and introspective characters ever.

It's the New 52, they have given Aquaman life.

I've always loved Black Bolt's costume.

Future foundation Spider-Man costume is cool.

Batman, Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Barbara Gordon, basically anyone from Gotham city have an interesting background.

My biased vote goes to Agent Venom

I'd actually vote for the Green Lanterns. I like they're origin, and the costumes are pretty slick most of the time.
