Which super-hero's superpower is most realistic and probable?
Captain America and the Super Hero Serum is kinda like the late 90s early 00s baseball home run explosion
Are you only talking people who have the big powers like super strength etc...because obviously people like Hawkeye/Green Arrow would be the most probable, just REALLY good at what they do...
Yeah I would say Steve Rogers is the most realistic, I could see some formula and treatment procedure giving someone artificial strength (not like stop a train strength but lift a car off someone strength) and heightened speed, agility, dexterity and all the other physical stuff.
Or Iron Man really...I mean in theory someone could make a suit that shoots a laser or lifts you off the ground?
Hawkeye/bullseye, Elektra, MVP, Although that may be a cop-out since it's stated they're not metahumans, so probably the most plausible super-power is super inteligence/engeneering/gadgetry i don't see why can't a very smart (and wealthy) guy invent and use cool gadgets to fight crime (or commit it).
Ozymandias... Catching a bullet is not too far out of the question...lol no, as of now it's impossible to catch even arrows.
su·per·pow·er
- A very powerful and influential nation (used esp. with reference to the US and the former Soviet Union when these were perceived as the two most powerful nations in the world)
- A dominant or preeminent individual or organization, esp. in a particular field
- - the network evolved into a sleek superpower
noun /ˈso͞opərˌpouər/ |
wrong, I once knew a guy who could catch an arrow, he did it infront of me, but it took years of training
here is a video of another dude doing the same thing and alot more:
here is another guy on myth busters:
Daredevil's maybe. The evolution did some crazy things to creatures and animals so that they could survive. Think about good dogs can smell, falcons can see, whales can hear, bats can feel super sonics and so on. I could be possible that some radioactive stuff changes your DNA and improves such senses. This is the correct answer!
There was actually a black kid in California that used echo location (what DD has) to see. He could play video games, skateboard, all kinds of things.
He was quite amazing, but unlike DD he always had to snap his fingers to get "images",
Daredevil and Captain America are probably things that could be done via natural evolution and in Cap's case drugs.
Scarcerow's fear gas may one day be replicated, mecha-suits are just coming into the basic stages of development nowhere near ready yet!)
@cattlebattle: Many blind people use that very technique. They can ride their bikes and things of that nature, and they do it by clicking their tongues.Yes, echo location, like bats. Funny thing is Daredevils more of a Batman than Bruce Wayne could ever hope to be

The most realistic super power that doesn't rely on gadgets, magic, tropes, or breaking physics would be fairly mundane abilities... so Barbra Gordon's eidetic memory and hacking skills for example. A lot of hard crime or noir type characters have an abnormal pain tolerance as a trope, but it is also a realistic power (so characters like Marv). Characters with synesthetsia can have extraordinary insight, organization, or senses depending on how their abilities work... a character like The Question has sometimes been shown to have such an ability. Another real mutant ability would be increased endurance, like that of Eero Mantyranta, who's increased red blood cell count made the Olympic committee suspect him of blood doping, but research later revealed him to be- essentially- a mutant.
what about healing factor? i think that might be realistic in the future for human bodies to heal at an quicker rate.
@cattlebattle: How would echo location help in playing video games?don't know, in the video I saw, he appeared to be playing Street Fighter with his brother, just search extraordinary people on youtube, you should find him
