Cyclops. The sycophantic treatment he's received from the writers recently is ridiculous. The writers & editors have made him the central figure of the largest X-Titles, and even in the surrounding X-Titles he's ridiculously prominent (excpept in X-Factor, thank God for PAD). I'm tired of seeing independent characters melt into brown-nosing puppies the instant Cyclops appears. In fact, the character's relationship with Emma Frost has caused her to degrade into a simpering puddle of insecurities. Get rid of Cyclops and make me a happy fan-girl...

Seriously at what point did the writers think I want to hear a blue cat-man talk dirty with science jargon to a green headed chick? I got that 'get me outta here, i'm scared' mental trigger or whatever. Really. There ain't no coming back from that either, it's over Beast and I think you should leave.
