Which overlooked character do you like more: Black Panther or Steel?

How can you say that though? Both are so similar.

Similar on the outside because they are both black geniuses who design a lot of tech. I think once you get past that, they start becoming quite different.

Okay, you got me. Name two differences :D

One's a king who has had his life defined by being responsible for his kingdom while the other was more or less a good Samaritan who wanted to help those he could. And one's African, and the other is an African American :)

Black Panther, but I do like Steel so it's close! Really hate when he doesn't have a mask/goggles on both eyes in the New 52, otherwise his redesign is pretty cool

Anyone who voted Steel needs a slap on the head and a copy of Priest's Black Panther run.

Though Steel is pretty fly - I liked him in JLA.

does anyone know if old steel comics are worth anything because I have 2 of them and there just as steel started out as a character

Well Black Panther isn't as overlooked as Steel, he pretty is the star of a current team ongoing and has several more ongoings than Steel.

Dang it was suppose to vote for Black Panther Glitched on me and voted for Steel. GRRR.

hes not that overlooked, hes popular in his own right witrhout a (of underrated) disclaimer.

basically said, Black Panther p;lays with the big boys (the popular characters) and Steel doesn't really, he's always second banana.
