which of Robin were the worst?
Unfortunately, I let Tomasi's rather annoying portrayal of a great character from Miller's comic affect my judgement...sorry :(
Damian Wayne for me, dont really care much about characterization but i just cant take a 10year old Robin beating up bad guys next to Batman serious. Thats stretching things a bit too far for me, even with comic book physics involved.
Now, is this a "Which Robin did you hate the most?" thread, or a "Who was the worst as far as abilities and such?" thread?
tim drake. boring as hell, too good, too soon. nothing interesting about him. they had to kill his father to give him something.
I don't even care about the female Robin's, so I'll only speak for the male Robin's and there I didn't like
Tim Drake
. Out of all the four Robin's he felt the most random...
Richard Grayson lost his parents and Batman wanted to help him get on the right track and one led to the other ... I can get behind that.
Jason Todd was living on the street, stealing stuff to survive and Batman wanted to help him. I can get behind that and I like Red Hood a lot, so it's even better.
Damian Wayne was his son. I don't like Damian Wayne as a character all too much, but I still prefer him over Tim Drake, who for some reason disturbs me. On top of that he found out that Bruce Wayne was Batman with evidence pulled out of his butt and then he immediately wanted to be Robin.
@battle_forum_junkie: i mean which of this character should never be robin

Dick was around the same age as Damian when he started fighting
@dondave: For me he has the bonus of being the original Robin, besides that I dont like the idea of a Batman sidekick at all. If it has to be then I at least wish they would give him a not completely ridiculous age though.
When Dick was Damian's age, he beat Blockbuster solo. Damian beating up thugs is alright.
Carrie Kelly was fine for an Elseworlds Robin until TDKSA, but in her defense that entire book was a steaming pile of crap. Dick is the iconic Robin and Jason has found a better niche as Red Hood, but his time as Robin is still mainly relevant if mostly as a cautionary tale. Tim has had everything original about him stripped away over the years until he became a Batman clone. He's just plain boring to read now. Stephanie was a bad Robin because she wasn't yet ready for that kind of responsibility. She was a much better Batgirl.
I think the worst robin was probably carrie kelly. I mean she had no experience yet somehow got lucky and kicked ass she just felt tacked on just like she does now.
@citizenbane: amd about new 52 carrie kelly do you think she will be good robin?
@eunicegalaxy: Let's see if she actually becomes a Robin before we make that judgment.
Carrie Kelly easily. Hated that b!^(#.
Carrie Kelley, I don't even consider her a Robin, she's just some girl who put on a Robin suit, no real training, no true meaning as to what the suit stood for, no actual reason to be Robin.

Given Damian's background I don't really see how it's ridiculous.
Carrie Kelly is probably my least favorite but I don't dislike any of them

Todd was hated so much the fans killed him. Damian, while extremely annoying, fit the role well. Dick and Tim are solid. Steph and Carrie weren't Robin long enough to matter.

@eunicegalaxy: I think she better as Batgirl or Spoiler .
Damian and Jason. Both were brash, wouldn't follow orders, and got themselves killed. [×]

Damian...he did nothing to earn the title...from day one he had little to no respect for it and simply treated it as a way to show Tim up out of jealousy because Tim was more of a son to Bruce than he was

And then New-52 happened and no one cared about Drake anymore.
