........Seriously? F4 can bomb and it'll still pull in more money than a niche, barely marketed film (relatively speaking) premiering in only a few hundred theaters. Besides, most people have already seen RoF lol

DBZ has a very limited theatrical release, and the only people going are a niche audience. The two aren't comparable; you'd have to compare DBZ to a limited Indie movie.

Fantastic Four should do better

I have no idea why so many people want F4 to fail.

Regular people want to enjoy something that is considered nerdy. Nerds everywhere should be happy.

But they can'y be. Such a sad life.

I would think anyone who cares enough about DBZ to even know Resurrection of F exists, has already seen it online subbed. So Fantastic Four, more's the pity: Them losing out to DBZ could be just the body blow Fox needs to sell the rights back to Marvel.

F4 by a lot, everyone who would be interested enough to watch the DB film already has.

I wasn't even aware there was a DBZ film.

FF is obviously going to do better than a niche anime film even one as popular a franchise as DBZ. But I have no interest in paying money to see either one, nor am I interested.

Both seem like a horrible choice...

If where talking cost to profit ratio then DB.

FF has had a host of problems and now it's got a review embargo which means the studio themselves thinks the movies bad.

1. It's doing things different that how they're traditionally done (Johnny being black, Doom being a hacker, Thing with no pants) and comic nerds, who hate change like the Noid hates pizzas, will rebel against it.

2. Some butthurt fans just want Marvel to get rights back to a franchise they themselves sold to avoid being bankrupt.

3. The nature of the Internet is to hate and boo things prematurely.

Personally, I can't say I'm excited for FF, but I have no grudges against it. I'm going in with no expectations, though, I hope it's successful so it can crossover with X-Men.
