Which is the most debatable battle?

I saw at least three different battle threads in titled: "The most debatable battle: x vs y" (where x and y were replaced with characters, of course)

So which is the battle which you see as most close/ which is discussed the most and has appeared to the point of annoying you?

Goku vs superman is one.

Batman with prep vs Batman with prep.

DBZ vs ANYBODY is debatable. Like I said in a previous thread, the power levels are to hard to use in the battle forums. They cause too many flame wars.

i think superman vs goku is the most debatable, then comes superman vs hulk or thor probably

Hulk vs Superman. That debated a LOT! I mean, Hulk strongest there is, but Hulk think Supes could be worthy challenge.

Yep..I was quite involved in a Hulk vs Superman thread (recently locked, thank goodness). I admit, it was fun, even though it got nasty at times. Both of those characters have a good sized fanboy base, and fanboys, by definition, will never admit their guy can lose. They come up with something to give their guy an edge. Often incredibly bizarre statements are made, but they stick to their guns. FWIW..I was arguing for Superman, so I know some folks think Hulk could beat him with little trouble.

Superman v. Hulk is NOT debatable unless you're buffing Hulk or nerfing Superman. This has been resolved on the battle forums countless times. Supes straight up beats Hulk under standard scenarios.

If its any consolation though, Hulk's comic book is miles ahead of the mediocrity Superman's books are at right now.

Yes, though Superman still makes the best mini-maxi/elseworld series. (All-Star, Birthright, Red Son, etc...) why this never transfers to his monthly comic..as of late, I can't quite grasp. I started reading "Indestructible Hulk" (because I'm a Mark Waid fan.) And love how he's doing Banner. Are there other Hulk books you would say are worth checking out?

Debates about Spider.Man vs Wolverine also pop up relatively often. We had quite a few Midnighter vs mid tiers\street levellers in the past. Not quite as popular as some of the previously mentioned battles, but they can be seen every now and then.

Spidey vs Wolverine is interesting. Just from my perspective. I don't see Wolverine being able to tag spidey, but I don't see Spidey inflicting any damage to Wolvie that he wouldn't heal from.

Captain America vs. Batman.,

HA! Just for kicks I found an old Goku vs Superman thread. (SSJ4 Goku vs SA Superman) Now, I know nothing about DBZ or Goku, so I have no opinion. But what was funny was most of the folks from either side weren't saying that "their guy would win" But that their guy would "win easily" It was like "Goku curbstomp" followed by "Superman in about 1 second." Followed by "Goku fans underestimate Superman" followed by "No, it's the other way around" "SA Superman has unlimited power, speed and vulnerability" Followed by so does Goku, only his is better." Very entertaining reading...until both sides simply got annoying.

• that screwattack thing isn't a canon issue or an internationnal convention between Shueisha and DC, it's only a fanboy video, so it's silly to take it as evidence.
• they made terrible lame mistakes in favor of Supes, i can list them to you, they are more than 10 mistakes, but i won't bother.

just an advice : never back up your arguments with none canon and fanboy sources. ;)
