Poll Which is better reading? (19 votes)

Walter Simonson's Thor (54 issues) 79%
George Perez' Wonder Woman (65 issues) 26%

Which of these two classic runs do you think is better reading?

Can't help, only read Walt's Thor, which was I believe the best run of the character to date.

I personally like George Perez's run on Wonder Woman more. That's what got me into Wonder Woman. Unfortunately, I could get into Walt's Thor. I know that it's held in a high regard, so it might be for you. Jason Aaron's God of Thunder run hooked me from issue one, but I gave Walt's run a few issues, and nothing clicked.

@allstarsuperman:

Good to see you back with your classic avatar.

I think you would enjoy Perez' Wonder Woman. "Rich" is a good word to describe it.

Thanks, Some peoples avatars make them easy to spot, and mine was pretty iconic so I switched back.

I'll look into it. WW is on my list for characters to read about. Would Perez run be the best for an intro into her world?

In my opinion, you can toss a coin between Perez and Azzarello. Either way you won't go wrong. Theyre different but both are incredibly well written stories. Be mindful, though, that Perez' can be a bit more of a chore to read than current comics. The pages have more panels than normal and are very wordy.

@sog7dc: I'll probably go with the old stuff, cause I like her classic origin more.

Then you'll enjoy the hell out of the first few issues. It's extremely well done.

@sog7dc: Well, honestly I haven´t read Wonder Woman, but Simonson´s run on Thor was incredible.

Wonder Woman, but it's not a stomp by any means.
