As in the title- if you could pick any comic book superhero (or indeed, any fictional 'hero') to patrol the streets and fight crime in YOUR city, who would you choose? And why would you choose them?
Which hero would you want to have patrolling YOUR city?
It really depends on what threat scale the enemies are on. I mean like if guy like Darkseid usually come then I'm going to pick someone like Shazam, But if it's just minor crime like robberies then I'm going to say Batman.

Just talking about the criminals which are already there in real life, and any others which may arise in the real world. So Shazam's probably a bit OP (though he'd certainly rake in the tourists, becoming a huge celebrity and bringing in a massive cash influx)...
I'd say Nightwing... but Bluhaven sux. I'll go with Green Arrow.
Same here. Who wouldn't want a hard-working 'for the people' vigilante patrolling their city by night with minimal collateral damage, and the world's most socialist and philanthropic multi-billionaire sharing his cash with the poor and needy people of their city by day? Sounds like a winning combo to me...
Punisher. I figure his killing the %#^&* will save taxpayers money.
So long as you can sleep safe in the knowledge that you and everyone else that you know has never had, and never will have, any involvement with any criminal activity. You don't really want a vigilante patrolling your city who's going to put you, your family and/or your friends on the hit-list, do you?

Ohh just minor crime like that I'd probably pick up Batman or maybe even Elektra or Deadpool.
Goku,he can sense if someone has evil intentions and isn't afraid of "dealing" with his enemies if it is neccessarry
But it does depend on the scale the enemies are at

Price of justice has always been high!

I don't hang with the sorts who would make Frank's list so I'm cool with it. I see in the news all sorts who torture and maim and murder who then get it a lot better in prison then they should. We have to be humane to monsters for some reason. Frank just does what society is too afraid to.
Is that because you could kill him whenever you want? You are a pretty evil guy Mr. Thanos.
Also do you even have a city?
Spiderman would be cool, we don't have tons of violent crime here so a hero who would inspire young people by actually talking to them would be good rather than just being someone who takes down criminals.
Thought that Thanos might be more partial to a superhero like Mr Immortal, one who he can kill brutally over and over again as many times as he wants. Surely Mr Immortal would make for a far more entertaining (and less stinky) stress-ball than Wolverine would?

Check the edit. I've explained.
Yes, I have a city plagued with death in my conception.

Nah, rather Deadpool, I would like to brutally murder my rival over and over again better.

You actually view Deadpool as a rival? :O

Nah, more like a puppet actually. But a rival compared to immortal man, yeah.
Green Arrow because he's pretty much like the best choice (check the comments above to know why) and Superman is pretty awesome and could help with a burning building or a bomb explosion or a roller coaster accident and other life threatening situations, Batman is awesome too because he's BATMAN and Wolverine to deal with stuff that would normally kill mortals and Flash because he's hella quick, Captain America or Spiderman would be a great addition as well.
But if I had to choose one, I would go with Green Arrow or Supes.
The Canadian equivalent of Captain America, I guess (and no, I don't mean Guardian or Vindicator), what with it being the capital and all.
Batman. It'd be scary to have Superman around, if the guy wakes up in a bad mood, he could dropkick the moon out of orbit.
None of them. If my city needed a hero to patrol it, they wouldn't make much of a difference.
Any evidence gathered wouldn't be admissible in court. And if they go around killing people, the public would turn against them. Which in turn would create more chaos.
In layman's terms a vigilante wouldn't work in the real world.
Pre-Recton Beyonder.
He's going to get bored and start messing with people.
As for me, Superman or Flash (Wally).
Anyone who follows me knows exactly who I would say.
