@the_stegman: star-lord was dancin too much in the film that was the only flaw in the film.

It's okay. JL did a great job.
@the_stegman: that don't matter in a fight. besides rocket racoon was a better character than star- lord and Groot. at times i think it tries to hard to be funny.
@cloakx14: I enjoyed Starlord more than Rocket or Groot.
@the_stegman: ugh. he was okay.
Why wouldn't you have Rebecca Romijn's Mystique?
I quit.
Because it would be an stomp.

Because she'll destroy the competition. No one did it better than her.
Honestly I was displeased overall with Gamora. She was frequently made to look incompetent and needed saving from other characters, and I didn't like her rather typical female role as a love interest. I think Zoe Saldana is a very good actress but she didn't have much opportunity to bring anything to her character and it shows. Jennifer Lawrence's ability to act is a large reason why the X-Men franchise has gotten away with the retcon of Mystique's character. She seems genuinely passionate about the character and it comes through on screen. Even in First Class when she's largely unlike the Mystique we know as comic fans, you could tell there was something there bubbling that would send her over the edge. Her little rage moments in that movie I felt were very promising for her to unleash while playing the role in the future, which is exactly what we got in Days of Future Past. I know everyone has nostalgia for Rebecca Romijn and she did a great job when Mystique was just a quiet henchmen, but there is no way she ever could have hoped to help carry a franchise the way Jennifer Lawrence has as Mystique.
Jennifer Lawrence's Mystique was handled much better than Gamora but Rebecca Romijn is still the better Mystique.
Zoe Saldana by a mile
In what way was Rebecca better? Character wise she was nothing but fanservice
No, She was way more dominating, and she way better in just able every way. We didn't have to put up with Lawrence's whiny Mystique (who barely does action scenes).
