I could never get into fantasy sports. I never wanted to watch a game and care more about whether or not Jason Witten catches a TD then whether or not my team is winning.

Same here. I'm actually very much into sports (NFL) statistics, so it confounds people initially when they find out I hate fantasy football. But the stats they use are very basic/context-free (so I get sick of people getting convinced certain players are "the best" because they produce a lot of fantasy points)

Yea, or when they have it, it's total tackles, total sacks, or total interceptions....because those really are a quality measure of defensive ability.
