Same as the Marvel one, but DC.
Which DC Hero would Make the most Dangerous Villain?
Batman, he monitors everything, he is a genius and could easily take down every justice leaguer with enough preparation. Furthermore he has the potential to take over the world, I mean Ra's al Ghul considers him as a worthy sucessor so...
@Dogofwarorion: I feel as if Cyborg would be trouble for him. I mean, he cant even plan on computers.
Spectre, Phantom Stranger, Superman, Captain Atom, Flash, Animal Man's Wife she smacked around Mirrior Master and John Constantine are my choice.

Don't deny the Flash could be a dangerous villain. If he just started running around the globe at top speed, he'd do a lot of damage. And that's BEFORE he started hitting people. Picture entire cities full of people exploding into giblets as each of them are hit by a red blur too fast for ANY of them to realize what's happening.
As for other heroes... Martian Manhunter has already proven he could be a very dangerous villain. Superman's obvious. As is Batman. How about Nightwing? Unlike everyone else here, he wouldn't be a villain through raw power. He'd do it through cunning and charisma. He'd rally the other heroes behind him, informing them that his plans NEED to happen for the betterment of mankind. And he'd probably succeed!
@JonSmith: @Shark_Repellent_Bat_Spray: Because doesn't The Flash already have villains with similar powers? I just feel like he's not, The MOST dangerous. Has anybody seen Kano's ending in Mortal Kombat 9?
He maybe wouldn't be the most dangerous, but Deadman could make a pretty dangerous villain. He could just possess someone, and start killing in any way a human could with whatever weapons. If someone kills the person he's possessing, he'd just take over someone else.
Or possess whoever he needed to be able to kill off all of the other superheroes first. Get the super powered people out of the way before moving on to humans.
@dtschemmel: Sure, but who stops Flash's rogues? The Flash.
If Flash seriously wanted to destroy the earth he could, he can run faster than the speed of light, travel in time, move so fast he appears invisible, and phase through solid objects among other things. So, if he seriously wanted to he could run across the entire earth faster than the speed of light and destroy everything. He could also create natural disasters like massive tornadoes with his arms.
@Shark_Repellent_Bat_Spray: Doesn't it hurt flash to run THAT fast? I mean, Vibe is supposed to basically turn off dimensional powers, right? Leaving Flash, just walking.

Zatanna
All it would take is one sentence.
I think she automatically dies if she says a death spell though.
It happened in Secret Seven, but as that was within the Flashpoint universe, maybe the rule is different in the main continuity.

Od uoy naem, sdnammoc enoyreve ot llik hcae tehto? Dluow taht krow?
@dtschemmel: No, he is a Speed Force Conduit and is protected by an aura which protects him and anybody he is running with. Being a Speed Force Conduit includes; Accelerated Healing, Vortex Creation, Decelerated Aging and being Limited Flight and many others. He can also THINK at super speed. He can run across water, up buildings defying gravity itself!
Also; The Flash will rarely run past Mach 10 because of the damage to the environment and the people. Apparently this speed is fast enough to cross the entire USA in just over 20 minutes.
Wally West can lend and steal Speed from other people. I don't know if Jay, Barry and Bart can display this ability though.
@Dhor: I dont feel like Batman is even top ten. He's smart, but brains and powers over money and brains. Thus why Luthor hasn't done anything.

Why did you post that backwards.
Zatanna casts her spells simply by speaking backwards.

There is no way in hell I am continuing to speak backwards. And I've seen it representative both ways: Sometimes with just the words, sometimes with the whole sentence structure. And when we're talking dangerous villain, I'm assuming one of two things: Either total world domination, or destruction. Zatanna could fall safely into the former category, less so the latter with the 'kill and be killed' limitation. Though she could cause a lot of collateral damage by having buildings fall apart, cars break down while in use, etc. Hell, she could just have a nuclear bomb explode and do a lot of damage. So no killing directly, but definitely causing some damage. And for my aforementioned spell, that would make everyone without magical resistance follow her commands.

Good points. I wasn't sure if indirectly killing would affect her in some way.
Nobody going to say Blue Beetle? I mean, imagine if Jaime Reyes followed the suits orders? Byebye earth
The natural choices would be the heavyweights - Superman, Batman, Flash et cetera
I think New 52 Kyle Rayner would be a pretty formidable villain, if he could get full mastery over all of the different rings. To my understanding, he can utilize every aspect of the emotional spectrum - just that the power is too much for him to wield or something?
@dtschemmel: Sorry, The Flash, like I said can move so fast that he appears invisible. Not to mention that Vibe cannot think or move anywhere near as fast as The Flash can. Vibe would be useless against him.
@dtschemmel: The Reach is powerful, but only as a group, Blue Beetle alone is no threat for the Justice League
@Veshark: And for new-52 Kyle Rayner, yes i believe he would be a JL-level threat if he ever turns bad

This group above add a Shazam,Aquaman, Dr.Fate, and Martian Manhunter.
ooo, Rip Hunter is a good one I hadn't thought of. The obvious answer is Batman. (As I don't think "powerful hero" automatically means dangerous villain. I think the spirit is "able to take over the world"). He's got the money & the genius (which were the common theme in the Marvel thread). Superman also - but not why everyone else is thinking. Sure he's powerful, but I think it's the trust everyone has in him is the thing he could exploit (like calling on someone for help, and killing them one at a time -- no one suspecting the blue boy scout).
Some top contenders would be:
- Superman - Requires no explanation.
- Martian Manhunter - See above.
- The Flash - He's so overpowered for no reason, he could do a lot of damage.
- Zatanna - One sentence and everyone dies.
That's just off the top of my head. Characters like Green Lantern and Wonder Woman would be dangerous, but I see them being taken out by Superman.
- Kyle Rayner
- Superman
- Martian Manhunter
- The Flash
- Zatanna
- Dr. Fate
- Batman(I think my point is proven in Justice League Doom)
- Captain Atom
- Blue Beetle
- Shazam
Wonder Woman maybe. Are we talking just the hero by him/herself? If Wonder Woman went rogue, my thinking is she'd be aided along by folks like Ares, maybe Apollo (though he might hate the idea of sharing anything with anyone.) Hades (if Hades has any interest in the Living world.) How abut Orion, if he counts as a "hero." Though one could argue that he'd be little different from Darkseid.

Dude he's channeling Zatana. My choice for pure firepower would be Captain Atom or Firestorm but for stealth The Atom. Don't underestimate that little 6 inch guy.He packs the wallop of a White Dwarf Star and can shrink down to swim in your veins and explode you from within when he returns to full size without you even knowing he was there.
