Which DBZ character is the most popular, years after the original show?

My favorite is Goku.

Everyone else's is Vegeta.

Piccolo.

He's green.

Done in the past and the final result was Vegeta.

Vegeta but i liked piccolo alot.

I haven't seen Dragonball yet(am going to though), the one I'm always hearing about though is Goku so I voted for that.

People love degenerates who bring down the team dynamic, like Wolverine, Batman and Sasuke most for some reason.

I'm willing to bet that the loser gets his arse handed to him in 90% of his fights wins. Vegeta has never beaten a big bad in DBZ. The closest he got was beating stage 2 Cell, and that didn't even last long.

Piccolo is by far the best DBZ character sans Cell - and it ain't even close.

I would say Gohan, but he haven't been doing much lately... so Vegeta it is.

The closest thing to a big bad he's beaten was Andriod 19.

Vegeta's plan was a dud. If Hercule wasn't there Vegeta's plan wouldn't have worked, especially since Vegeta was mad Goku picked Hercule over Trunks.

@superguy1591: people also love mentally challenged heroes like Goku, because otherwise, akira wouldnt keep wanking goku off and sidelining vegeta, a much more developed interesting character. Cmon, i mean goku is probably the most cliche hero of all time, hes an awfully written character fhat is only still around because his fans have hard ons for him. Real people make mistakes and have flaws, unlike Goku. Vegeta is the most original character to ever come out of DBZ, hes also the only character that actually DEVELOPS throughout the entire show. He goes from being a cold blooded killer to a sentimental family man.

To be fair, you can't say Gohan didn't beat Cell.

You wanna give Vegeta the assist, that's fine but you'd have to do the same with Goku, but 99% of the credit goes to Gohan. You can't take that away from the kid.

And in all honesty, Vegeta's development has been done before and done better by Tien and Piccolo. He's not that original compared to other characters on the show.
