Which Comic Character Is The King Of Misdirection/Deception?

A lot of people are going to say Batman, but he's got nothing on Mysterio. That guy takes everything and brings it to a whole other level. Batman adapts to his surroundings, while Mysterio actually adapts the surroundings to him! Artificial atmospheres, backgrounds, lighting, it's ridiculous.

Clark Kent.

He uses a pair of glasses and a slightly different haircut combined with simple psychology and body language and FOOLS EVERYONE.

He is King.

I loved Waid's explanation for Clark's disguise in Birthright. Nothing is better at explaining why it's more than the pair of glasses that fool people.

Mysterio is definitely in with a shout, see Havenless' post for why. I'd also have to say Loki, it only takes a whisper in the ear from him at times.

You can't really beat Lucifer.

A lot of pepole have misdirection powers, Fantomex is just a glorified telepath
