Has anyone or anything made you a fan of a particular character who you didn't used to like? For me, I never liked Thor much until the film and then the recent Aaron comics and the follow up appearances turned me around. I wouldn't say I am a huge Thor fan, but I think he is one cool dude.
Which characters do you love now who you used to hate?
Came in to say Thor, I mean I never hated him or even disliked him I just didn't care for him I guess, but I've been reading a couple of of Thor arcs, mainly the recent God of Thunder series like you and I love him now, he's badass.
I didn't care much for Thor. I didn't know much about him except that he was pretty strong. Before the fist Thor movie I wanted to educate myself a little on the character. I bought Volume 1 and 2 of the Straczynski's Thor, and was hooked. .
Before I got into comics, I was of the belief that Superman was boring and overpowered. But after reading some of his best stories, he's one of my favorites.
Superman. I was into comics, but I just thought he was a lame boyscout. Then, years ago, I got a girlfriend who got me into Superman, haha.
Batman. I hated him and thought he was an overexposed, overpowered (As in, somehow he is always to one who defeats the most powerful enemies, in a designated hero sort of way) hero. Then I began to read Nu52 Batman and so far I love his run.
Still haven't changed my opinion about the overexposed, overpowered part, tho.
Superman. I think I hated him just because that was the popular thing to do. Then I actually gave him a chance, now he's my favorite DC character. So keep an open mind kids!
Captain America, I guess hates a little strong but before the movies and getting into comics I really didn't care for him at all.
When I was younger, I thought Venom was cooler than Spider-man. That mindset changed after reading Spider-man comics.

Pretty much this. Hate is a little strong, though. I did think he was just a "lame and overpowered" character - because I'm original like that.
Legion & Marrow.
Never really hated them per se, but Simon Spurrier has turned me into a big fan of both.

Same here.
For me, it was River Song from Doctor Who. I thought that she was just going to be an unneeded extra character and love interest. But after watching her episodes during the 11th Doctor's run, I discovered that River KICKS ASS! And I looked forward to watching whatever episodes she'd be in.
Hal Jordan. His personality may be bland IMO but his dynamic with Barry intrigued me to read more GL stuff.
Spider-man. growing up I've seen him fight tons of people who are tailor made to kill him and yet he wins every time. it didnt make sense to me but then I played spider-man web of shadows and for some reason it just made a world of sense to me then I started reading more and liking him more as a character.
